Dr. Wai K. Cheung graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997. He has been practicing for 22 years, 20 of which have been in Arizona. After graduation he pursued one year of hospital residency at Goldwater Memorial Hospital where he was treating mostly paraplegic and quadraplegic patients. The residency did not just provide the experience in dentistry, but just as equally allowed him to improve these patients quality of life.
Drs. Cheung and Liao are proud of the warm patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. Dr. Janice T. Liao graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1998. She has been practicing for 21 years, 20 of which have been in Arizona. Her residency did not just provide a deeper knowledge of dentistry, but just as equally important the humanity side of life.

Drs. Liao and Cheung are fantastic dentists and wonderful people. They have been taking great care of my teeth for twenty years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I actually look forward to going to the dentist! Ha ha. The entire staff is professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

I've been a patient with Liao and Cheung Dental for 15+ years and it's always a good experience. Drs. Liao and Cheung are excellent dentists and are extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming, their office staff are always pleasant, and the doctors really take the time to get to know their patients. I've never felt rushed at an appointment or felt pressured into a treatment/repair. Highly recommend them.

Ive never been a fan of going to the dentist, at all, but going here definitely changed my mind. All the workers there are super friendly, super understanding and overall just amazing. I have no problem going back again for anything. I appreciate you all!

This is the most unprofessional disrespectful office ever dealing with janice is the worst thing ever she literally calls and txt me all evening with no regard to my work schedule or family time. I had to have a crown fixed for free by another doctor because they felt so bad for me on how bad the work was done here Never ever will i go back or refer anyone

Janice Liao at Liao and Cheung is awesome! She is kind and funny and makes your entire experience at the dentist, fun. She is thorough in her skill and informative in her guidance. Her staff are personable and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a great dentist.

Just took my 15 month old here for her very first check-up! I am so happy with the service. The receptionist was SO sweet, she helped me wrangle my toddler while I filled out the paperwork. The Dr was soooo welcoming, friendly and kind. 10/10

The young girl taking my x-rays jammed the thing in my mouth and insisted I bite down harder when it was physically impossible. I kept telling her I can't and I'd help hold it, something, as the floor of my mouth was throbbing due to inexperience perhaps. I ended up walking out and found a dentist closer to home who actually knew what they were doing, no pain, no discomfort.

I went here after seeing the reviews. First trip was a cleaning and prob rushed because I spent too much time asking questions. My questions were all answered but the cleaning was not as good as I am used to. My second cleaning 6 months later was very different and very good. Now 6 months later for next cleaning they say I don't have an appointment even though one is always made on the previous cleaning appointment. I had issues getting things approved through my insurance. One thing my insurance company told me was covered turned out not to be. Then several procedures after that were denied and when I told my insurance company, they said there were submitting approval to the wrong company and thats why they were denied. The office said they would correct it but always had issues and a few times just never returned calls? They did say it was a pain dealing with many of the insurance companies these days but could have at least followed up instead of just blowing my off. Went to another dentist and explained what happened and they were able to get approval for what I needed right away. Not sure what happened but def not a 5 star experience.

I went for my first visit to this office and I knew I picked the right place before I even met the dentist. I could hear the caring, friendly demeanor she had with the other patients before she came to my chair! Once with me, she took great care and thoroughness to explain what I needed done and went over my X-rays in great detail. I highly recommend this dentist. I have never posted a review for anything before but I was so happy with this place I decided to do my first review!
