Dr. Steven L. Shuff uses his kind of friendly disposition to create a comfortable dental experience for all who see him. In 1984 he graduated from the University of the Pacific's dental program. In 1987 he started his own practice and has been in Doctors Park since 2004.
Dr. Shuff grew up in Concord. He has wanted to be a dentist from the time he was a small child. in 1977 he graduated from Ygnacio Valley High School and became an Eagle Scout. He now lives in Walnut Creek with his wife, Jeanne, while his two daughters live in Oregon after attending college in the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Lilly Li received her BS degree from UC Berkley in 1987 and Graduated from Boston University Dental School in 1991. Following graduation she did one year of General Practice Residency at Sepulveda VA hospital to gain more knowledge about medicine in relation to general dentistry. She also attended one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University to the Pacific to get further training in cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Li joined Dr. Shuff's family practice in 2000. She is friendly, patient and meticulous. Her practice philosophy is to treat everyone with honesty and respect and to do the best dental work in each individual case.
I am Dr. Shuff's Office Manager and have worked for him for over 25 years but have known him all my life - he is my older brother. Over the years I have enjoyed getting to know all of our patients and seeing the children grow into young adults. I have been married for 34 years and have 2 grown children and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Hi, I am Karen Mann and I am one of the Registered Dental Assistants in Dr. Shuff's office. After completing the Dental Assistant course at Loma Vista Adult Education, I was placed with Dr. Shuff for a 3 month internship. That was 24 years ago. I was raised in Concord and I still live there. I share a small house with one of my daughters, three grandchildren and 1 bathroom. We hope to add a dog in the mix soon.
Hi, my name is Carol Peck and I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I have been working for Dr. Shuff for over 20 years. We are like a family. I have been married for 45 years and have 2 kids and 2 grandkids. We like to go RVing, boating and fishing with our kids and grandkids. I am very much an animal person. I love all animals. Right now I have 2 labs - the best dogs to have with a family.
I am Mahnaz Santini and I have been a Registered Dental Assistant and a Concord resident for 30 years. I have worked for Dr. Shuff for the past 10 years. I love exercising, hiking, dancing, biking and spending time with my husband and five children. I am skilled at creating a stress-free environment and a welcoming reception for patients.
I have been in the dental field since 1983 when I worked as a Chairside Dental Assistant for a local Orthodontist. I earned my AA degree (1986) and RDH license (1990) at Diablo Valley College. I have been a part of Dr. Shuff's team since 1992, have been married since 1990 and have 2 daughters (20 and 14 years old). In addition to work and family commitments I enjoy volunteering and working with Concord High School Chior, Girl Scouts of Northern California and SOLO Opera.
I graduated college and started practicing Dental Hygiene in 1986. In 1996 I joined Dr. Shuff's team on Saturdays. When not practicing Hygiene full-time I enjoy going to the gym, traveling and being a new grandma to Baby Kadence!
