The Annapolis, Md., native joined the Covington, Va., practice in 2019. Before then, she was in a private practice in Maryland, then worked with the Rockbridge Area Health Center and New Horizons in Roanoke.
Dr. Cassilly was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Master's Degree in Biology from Towson University.
Away from the office Dr. Cassilly enjoys spending time at home near Lexington, Va., with her husband (also a health care professional) and their pre-school daughter, Brooke, where they enjoy gardening, cooking, and hiking in the Virginia mountains with their dog, Rufus, a Shepherd-Hound mutt. She is a member of the American Dental Association.

I took myself and my two daughters (ages 5 and 2) to Dr. Cassilly and the entire experience at Lexington Smiles was INCREDIBLE! They were magic and it's my girls and I got my first adult filling- quick and *literally* painless. Both of my kids are ASKING TO GO BACK TO THE DENTIST! Beautiful facility, incredible staff, amazing dentist. Couldn't recommend more highly!

All of the staff were so nice! I had to bring my 1 year old with me and they let me hold her while I got my teeth cleaned and they held her for me while I got my x-rays done! My 6 year is scared of dentists but they made her feel right at home!! I HIGHLY recommend Lexington Smiles!!!

Dr. Cassilly has been my dentist for almost 5 years now and there's no one I'd rather have in charge of my dental care. From root canals to fillings and crowns - she does an incredible job AND pays attention if something is uncomfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Lexington Smiles to my family and friends (or those just passing through)!!!
