Dr. Scioscia is absolutely the guy I will go back to for any and all oral surgery needs going forward. His staff is extremely professional, welcoming, and helpful! Dr. Scioscia is very knowledgable, calm, and gives off that confidence in what he is doing that you can only get from years of experience. Great office vibe as well!!

My son and daughter had the best wisdom teeth surgery experience. Everything was professional and perfect. Thanks Dr. Scioscia.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out and everything went smoothly. I was given the medication I needed, given clear instructions on precautions to take, and had an overall fast recovery. The nurses were great and everyone was professional and courteous. Dr. Scioscia is an excellent surgeon and I felt comfortable in his care. 10/10.

I was treated with poor bedside manner. Dr. P. Scioscia was rude. The procedure was poorly done and took much longer to heal than it should have. When I called he denied I was in any pain or needed more antibiotics! I was also told my insurance would not cover the procedure and I needed to pay the full amount upfront. I did. I found out a couple of weeks later they had submitted the surgery to my insurance and a large portion was paid directly to them. After several attempts they finally admitted they owed me a refund. They said they would send it in two months because of the way their bookkeeping is done. I marked my calendar. I did not receive it. I went back and forth with them for another month and they claim they sent the check, but it must have gotten lost. I said they should issue another and I would pick it up myself. They said they would have to mail it, but would charge ME for a stop payment and other office charges out of MY REFUND due to their overcharge and inability to get the refund to me! They are scammers. This dentist is the worst!

I've taken two of my kids to Dr. Scioscia for wisdom tooth extraction and both received excellent care. Kiddo specifically mentioned that the nurse/assistant held his hand because he was scared of the IV. That one little thing made it much better for him. I received not just one but two follow up calls, one from the doctor himself very late in the evening when most people are already parked on the couch. Recovery time has been minimal and there's been no mental scarring at all. Having been traumatized by my own experience long ago, that was important to me. As for the other comments regarding his personality, yes, he can be a bit short sometimes but he can also be very nice. I don't know what to say about that except that I'll pick abilities over personality anytime. He's a very talented oral surgeon and his staff is top notch **2021, last kid done! He's still the best.

Went to see him for our daughters wisdom teeth because a friend referred his office. He was beyond amazing. And his staff was wonderful. Recovery time was short because of the job he did. Highly recommend!!

I had a bit of an urgent situation and went to see Dr. Scioscia. Everyone in his office was great. Dr Sciocia was warm and friendly. Often when you see a specialist, they seem rushed and don't have a lot of time to spend with you. Dr. Scioscia took his time and explained everything. He even called me that evening to see how I was doing. I definitely recommend his practice!

I went in for an emergency tooth extraction (abscessed wisdom tooth) three weeks ago. Dr. Scioscia consulted with me, discussed the situation in detail and made plans for future extractions (for the remaining wisdom teeth). He and his staff were kind and the whole process went well!

We had a wonderful experience with them. Staff were very kind and knowledgeable. My son who is 17 had no problems with excision of his wisdom teeth.

Such nice staff! Very deserving of a five star rating. I can tell they really care about their customers. Still waiting for my wisdom tooth extraction and will update this review when completed. Update: Still in recovery its been about 3 days, still a five star review. Thanks! - chipmunk cheeks

My daughter needed wisdom teeth extraction, and our dentist basically told us we could find our own surgeon. I'm so glad we found Lexington Facial and Oral Surgery! The staff were competent and friendly, and the doctor was highly professional and very knowledgeable. He explained the surgery thoroughly, and took good care of my daughter the day of the surgery and at post-op. We were given written instructions for post-op care, and the office called to check on her a few times. I'm extremely satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend this office.

When it comes to any form of oral surgery I am the world's worst chicken. I cluck the whole way. Dr. Scioscia was amazing! I sit here writing this less than 24 hours after 2 extractions, one being a wisdom tooth. The staff was so gentle, even held my hand during the process, which took only minutes! They called me twice during the day, once by very friendly staff, then followed by Dr. Scioscia himself in the evening! Who does that anymore? I was scheduled quickly for my procedure, the staff was graceful and professional, immediately giving the feeling of confidence. Had I known I would have had all my teeth removed years ago (kidding). Thank you so much for being an amazing resource here in Lexington. To anyone reading this, don't be afraid, call this office and you too will go from a Chicken to Rooster over night!

All the staff was nice and helpful before the tooth extraction received.no after care no call to check on me as said when I was leaving. No offer of pain medication I was in terrible pain for 2 days. Take Tylenol alternating with Advil I told them I couldn't take Ibuprofen Tylenol was not enough to manage first and second day pain. My tooth has been healing well the procedure was fine.
