Parents of young children beware. This office follows a practice that expects 3 year olds to engage in situations that are not developmentally appropriate. When I stated I did not consent to my 3 year old being taken back alone, they said he had to -with no other explanation or genuine care and openness to understanding. I stated as an early childhood professional in special education this was a developmentally inappropriate expectation, and they said okay, we can cancel the appointment. This is not a common practice throughout the US, as research proves a 3 year old is more developed and will experience more terror and separation anxiety than a 2 year old is capable of. All children are different sure, parents and medical practices need to be aware of what expectations are appropriate of children and what could be harmful to their overall well-being. Seeing a dentist alone at 5-6 years old is more appropriate, possibly an older 4 year old could do so successfully.

Thank you for taking such great care of my 4-year-old! It may be a hard thing for kids and moms alike, but I greatly appreciate that you take my little man back on his own.

My son needed to have his baby canines pulled to allow room for his adult teeth. He was very nervous about the whole thing. On the day he went in, he was in and out in maybe 30 minutes. The whole thing was fast and he came out with a huge smile as he was biting on the gauze of course . Great service! Highly recommend!

My son loved the submarine playhouse in their waiting room. He was hesitant to go back without me on his first visit, but the dental assistant was very kind and did a little coaxing with a treasure box. He came back out with his goodie bag, and he was super excited to go home and use his new toothbrush! Great overall experience.
