Hi there! I am a dental hygienist on Dr. Leslie Hayess dental team. I have had the privilege to work with Dr. Hayes since 1992. It is our goal to provide every patient quality dental work in a clean comfortable setting. Our team members truly care for every patient and want to provide each person with the best dental experience possible.

I grew up in Big Timber, MT and then attended hygiene school in Sheridan, WY, going on to the University of Wyoming where I attained a BS in Dental Hygiene with an emphasis on public health. After graduating in 1988, I worked in Wyoming and Colorado and spent summers working for the State of Colorado Migrant Program. I then moved back home to Montana to continue my career in dental hygiene.

I joined Dr. Hayes team in February of 2019 and am relatively new to the dentistry field. Each individual in this practice strives to give the best care possible to each and every patient. Working with such awesome professionals has gotten me over my fear of the dentist. I feel very grateful to work with the team that we have here.

I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I move to Bozeman 11 years ago to attend Montana State University. I have a degree in Elementary Education and have enjoyed working with children in both medical and educational settings. When I am not working, you can find me outside. I love hiking, camping and playing outdoors with my husband and dogs.

I first started working in Dentistry in 2015 in Jackson Wyoming where I fell in love with mountains and dentistry. Over the years I have had so many wonderful opportunities to experience dentistry changing peoples lives in the best ways. I feel very grateful to have been able to move from one great dental office to another. Dr Hayes has built a wonderful practice here with an amazing, knowledgeable, caring staff that I am happy to be a part of.

I joined Dr. Leslie Hayes practice in August of 2017. I have been in Dentistry for 38 years and I feel very fortunate to be able to practice in such an outstanding practice with a very talented, caring team. I am very committed to delivering the best dental and wellness care that is available and maintaining a high level of education on current dental procedures and therapies.

I live the health that I present to my patients and try to be a good role model. As a competitive athlete my summers are spent bike racing and winters are spent coaching and Nordic ski racing. My other interests include trail running, camping, backpacking, interior design and cooking.

My career as a dental hygienist started in 1996. I have worked for Dr. Hayes since 2007. It is a fantastic practice and I feel grateful to be part of it. I am fortunate to work with wonderful colleagues, who all strive to achieve the best care for and dedication to our patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, treasuring every moment I have with them. Born and raised in the Gallatin Valley, I enjoy being outdoors and love everything this area has to offer.

I first started working in dentistry in 2015 and fell in love with it and make it my beautiful career. I feel so very fortunate for the opportunity to work with Leslie as a dental assistant and for her teaching me everything in dental. Im proud to work with a team who strives to give the best care to our patients.

VeneersVeneers are thin pieces of porcelain or plastic placed over the front teeth to change the color or shape of your teeth. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked. Veneers are used to treat some of the same problems as bonding. Veneers have a long life expectancy and color stability.

Contouring and reshapingTooth reshaping and contouring is a procedure to correct crooked teeth, chipped or irregularly shaped teeth or even overlapping teeth. Tooth reshaping and contouring is commonly used to alter the length, shape or position of your teeth. Contouring teeth may also help correct small problems with bite.

Born and raised in Livingston, Montana, Leslie Hayes completed her undergraduate work at MSU in 1986, here in beautiful Bozeman. She achieved her DDS degree from the University of Minnesota in 1991 and immediately moved back to Bozeman to start her practice. She is the current President of the Montana constituent of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the current chairman of the AGD Fellowship Exam Committee Team C and is also on the continuing education committee of the Montana Dental Association

Her dedication to leadership in the dental field has spanned many years as she has served as President, Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer of the 6th District Dental Society of the American Dental Association (ADA) and as Secretary/Treasurer, President Elect and President of the Montana Academy of General Dentistry, and Chairman and committee member of the Self Instruction Committee of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Hayes received a Fellowship in the American College of Dentists which is focused on esthetics in dentistry and a Fellowship in the International College of Dentists which focuses on community service both local and international.

In addition to her commitment to leadership, she has demonstrated her commitment to continuing education starting in 1992 when she began working toward her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning her Fellowship in 1997, she continued to work toward her Mastership in the AGD, which she received in June 2015. Fellowship and Mastership in the AGD required passing a written exam, taking at least 1000 hours of continuing education with 500 of those hours being hands-on courses. She is so passionate about continuing education that she currently serves as the chairman of the AGD Fellowship Exam Committee Team C and serves on the Montana Dental Association Continuing Education committee. Continuing education is such a passion for Dr. Hayes because she sees it directly benefiting her patients needs. When she saw a real need for a simple approach to orthodontics, she pursued a special 2 year course to meet that need, approaching this service as she does all of her work: simply and honestly.

Dr. Hayes is one of the friendliest and most approachable people you will meet and her dedication to her patients and to her profession extends to the greater Bozeman community, as well. She has served on the boards of the Bozeman Area American Red Cross, Gallatin Valley United Way, and Cancer Family Network of Montana.

When shes not in her office or attending professional conferences, you might meet Dr. Hayes hiking with her poodles, Luke and Stella on trails around Bozeman. She also loves to quilt with friends, travel the world with her mother and spends as much time as possible with her two granddaughters.
