You might not expect a former gymnastics national champion or a University of Illinois Cheerleader to have been dreaming of being a dentist since kindergarten, but thats exactly what she did. Leslie Flahaven, DDS, chose her path in grade school and didnt look back. Her interest in dentistry started with her mother and her childhood orthodontist and the fascination grew from there.
Being the first person to go to college on her mothers side, she knew her path was long and hard. She earned her first degree, a Bachelors of Science, from the University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign where she graduated with honors in 2001. She was then accepted into the University of Illinois @ Chicagos College of Dentistry and graduated with a Bachelors of Dental Science in 2004 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005.
After dental school, she connected with a General Practice Residency program here in NJ at the West Jersey Virtua Hospital in Camden. She came here to sharpen her skill and spend more time in the private practice and emergency room setting. It was at this program in the West Jersey Virtua hospital that she met Dr. John Horn. He was a faculty member in this hospital that would come in to lecture to the residents. She graduated the residency program in 2006 and has been living local with her husband and 3 sons ever since.

Amazing experience. It was my first time. I did not have to wait. The service was exceptional Lori cleaned my teeth and made me feel so welcomed. Such a welcoming and cozy environment. Dr. Flahaven was so nice and helpful. The place was so beautifully decorated. Music was calming. Recommend 10000%

Went in for a cleaning and to have a broken tooth looked at. Dr Flahaven and Andrea the hygienist did a great a job of making me comfortable and helping me prioritize what needed to be taken care of.

Always smiling, able to give excellent dental care & information every time! Easily answer all my questions & concerns so I can just relax & close my eyes knowing I'm in good hands while my dental care is done. We travel a distance to get our care there but it is so worth it!

Dr. Leslie is amazing!! She goes above and beyond for her patients! I drive 1 hour to get here, that's how much Iove this office.

This is my second visit, the first was at the old location which was further away and not as nice but the new location is much closer and WOW!! It looks great and the doctor was GREAT, she listens and does great work. I guess a best way to summarize it is that she CARES and the staff is nice also. I finally found my dentist!!

My 4 year old son loves it, Im a vet with ptsd and when I'm stressed they really go out of their way to calm me and help or just reschedule Had another visit for our 5 year old today 9/28 and once again amazing people and very clean new office. Love love love it here
