Leroy Alford DDS, MS served in the Army in Germany for three years and then moved to Kansas City for a combined residency and master's program in Periodontology (gum disease). After a two-year teaching and clinical program at the Birmingham, Alabama VA Hospital and University of Alabama Dental School, he moved to Rome, Georgia.
Dr. Alford has been married for 42 years to Caroline Alford. Caroline is active in the Rome Federated Garden Club, State Board of The Garden Club of Georgia, and she is active in managing the office. Caroline is an amazing cook and even has her own cookbook! Her cookbook 'Cooking with Caroline' is available at our office.
He had a very successful practice for thirty years which he sold in 2005. Now instead of retirement, he decided to open a new practice in the growing community of Adairsville. It's a great small city with a big future!

My son had dental deep cleaning at this practice and he had a great experience. His staff who did the scaling are wonderful. We highly recommend them. Thank you so much.

He did a good job numbing me before an extraction but yelled at me about not having had a breast exam done recently. Last I knew my breasts have nothing to do with my teeth. At this point I don't know who to see since I'm continuing to have issues because I will never go back there.

Fantastic experience with Dr. Alford and staff! I was referred here by Dr Edwards (Adairsville Family Dentistry) for a tooth with multiple cracks. I was nervous about my visit, but from beginning to end, Dr Alford and his staff took amazing care of me. I had my tooth extracted and an implant placed on the same visit. I have had little to no pain! I highly recommend this office! Thank you so much for such an easy process!

We were referred to Dr. Alford by Dr. Cline (Orthodontist in Cartersville) because our 9 year old daughter needed a skin graft. Consolation with Dr. Alford went great. He was thorough & honest. Our daughter just had procedure done today. The electronic medication prescription his staff sent to our pharmacy couldn't be filled in digital format. So - Dr. Alford changed his clothes & took it upon himself to drive paper format of prescription to our pharmacy himself! Our pharmacy is at least a 30 minute drive...maybe more. We offered to meet him, but he felt so bad & he wanted to do himself. There are no words to express how grateful we are in him doing so. I highly recommend Leroy B. Alford, DDS for your Periodintost needs. We don't mind the drive because he's well worth it. We're so very grateful.

Dr Alford and his staff are very kind and friendly! I'm a very nervous dental patient (I had to have a tooth pulled) but they assured me that I'd have no worries. They were very professional and I would definatly go back to him if the need arises again!
