Our office was established in 1960 by Joseph Lepak D.D.S. who retired in 2015 after 55 years of dental service. His daughter, Lauryl Lepak-Krumm D.D.S., joined the practice in 1992. Dr. Andrea Hislop D.D.S. joined the practice in 2021. Together we strive to maintain the legacy of excellent dental care in a friendly, caring environment that Lauryls father established. It is our desire and pleasure to provide our patients with the highest quality dentistry. Our team is specially trained to meet your dental needs. Your health, comfort, and convenience are most important to us. We offer a wide range of office hours for your convenience.
Dr. Andrea Hislop, a native of Michigan, has been in the dental field since early 2000s, beginning as a dental assistant while taking courses to pursue a Post Baccalaureate degree in Physics and Secondary Education. She earned a Bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Detroit Mercy. During her stint as an assistant, she fell in love with Dentistry, switched her career path, and returned to her alma mater to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercys School of Dentistry.
She has a sincerity for helping those in need. During her senior year of undergrad, she organized and led a group of over 50 college students from several Metro Detroit campuses to aid in post Hurricane Katrina relief, giving their spring break to gut and paint houses of residents of New Orleans and the surrounding area affected by the natural disaster. After graduating, she dedicated a year of her life to campus ministry in Metro Detroit.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Hislop enrolls in study clubs and continuing education courses to keep current. She is meticulous and fosters a positive and peaceful environment. Dr. Hislop takes time with her patients, with personalized plans after discussing with her patients their hopes and goals. Eager to treat kids and to instill a desire to have a healthy smile. Dr. Hislop is a proponent of promoting oral health, to foster oral education and preventative practices.
She loves spending time with her husband, Jason, and their three young children. They enjoy walking in the woods with their collie. In her spare time she will garden, read or paint. She uses her creativity to bless family or friends with floral arrangements for their weddings, from past experience as a florist. She is an active member of her church, along with her husband, helping to build it in its early years. Dr. Hislop is involved in the childrens and womens ministry, taking pleasure in painting props for the latest Christmas childrens production.
I have truly enjoyed my visits with Dr. Andrea Hislop. I stayed out of any dentist office for several years and this did not help me, but only made me more nervous to get back in. I finally got in to see Dr. Hislop earlier this year as a new client, and I am so happy I did. Though I have needed a lot of work done, she had been so amazing. She is detailed and thorough. I sincerely know that she cares. I feel more relaxed in her care than I had expected to. I deeply appreciate her taking such good care of my teeth. Im so glad she is my dentist. I trust her and she will always remain my dentist.

If you are looking for a dentist who's caring takes the time and walks through every step with patience, Lepak family dentistry is the place to go. Doctor Hislop did an amazing extraction. I felt no pain it was over before I knew it I have trouble swallowing they were kind and patient with me. This is my dentist forever it should be yours too.

I am visiting commerce township for a work assignment. One of my crowns had to be recemented and I chose Lepak. I also saw them for a cleaning and a filling appointment. They had great appointment availability and all of the staff was very friendly. They listened, were patient, and took their time. I would recommend this dentist's office.

Always greeted by name with a smile. Office very neat and clean, usually have a wide selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate (COVID eliminated this) to help if you have to wait. My Daddy was my life time dentist, after he retired I went to a few dentists I was not satisfied with their skills or offices until I found Dr Lepak Krumm. Dr has excellent skills, explains issues, gives choices and over all is an incredible dentist. It is always a good experience coming to Dr Lepak's office. I highly recommend this practice 5 stars!!!!

Excellent experience and expertise, and friendly as heck to boot! You and your whole family need to make this your family dentist. Two fillings done today, one was a caved-in/chipped molar and one was a broken previous filling (from another dentist) that had developed a cavity. It feels so good to have whole, good looking, cavity-free molars again. So grateful Doctor Lepak-Krumm chose to become a dentist.

Became a patient on referral by satisfied family members few years ago and have always had a positive, relaxed and pain free experience. My teeth required many repairs from years of defective work at another dentist. Dr Krumm fixed my teeth properly and and quite affordably I'm happy to say since I have no insurance. Now they have a great membership plan that can help me or any family make dental visits within budget so you don't have to put off upkeep to your teeth. I'm also happy with their courteous staff and hygienists too!
