Born in Chicago, Dr. Witkowski attended Morgan Park Academy high school, followed by an undergraduate chemistry degree from Denison University. Dr. Witkowski graduated with his DDS degree from Northwestern University. Following graduation, he remained at Northwestern as an instructor, eventually becoming an associate professor. While teaching, Dr. Witkowski joined the practice of Dr. Robert Tanis in Calumet City. He maintained this practice in the River Oaks Professional Building until 1998 when the practice was relocated to Mokena. In 2015, he transitioned the practice to his son, Dr. LJ, and enjoys working side by side with the Iowa graduate.
Dr. LJ graduated from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2005. It is the finest institution of higher learning in the countryjust ask him. Dr. LJ values taking continuing education, namely in the areas of digital dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and implant surgery. Dr. LJ is a member of ADA, CDS, ISDA, Cerec Doctors and Spear and is certified in Invisalign. He takes pride in providing a family-friendly atmosphere in his dental practice and makes the finest balloon animals of any dentist in Mokena, IL (thats a challenge Dr. Burton).
In his free time, Dr. LJ enjoys spending time with his three children, Penelope, James and June. With any time remaining, he enjoys reading 2-3 pages in a book with no pictures before falling asleep, losing golf balls on the golf course and going to the gym every 3-4 weeks, as time allows.
A native of Indiana, Dr. Clevenger graduated with honors from Saint Josephs College in Rensselaer, IN, with a degree in biology in 2004. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010. Dr. Clevenger remains committed to continuing her education, completing numerous advanced training courses in topics such as same-day CEREC crowns, Invisalign, implants and pediatric dentistry, just to name a few. Her practice philosophy centers on patient comfort and a great experience. She is excited to be the newest member of the Witkowski Dental family and join Dr. Wit and Dr. LJ in creating a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
Stacey has been a dental hygienist for 12 years. She graduated in 2009 from Kennedy-King College Dental Hygiene program at University of Chicago. She is certified in administering local anesthetic and carries a license to practice both in Illinois and Indiana. Stacey has been part of the Witkowski Dental family for 9 years. Originally from the south east side of Chicago, she now resides in Northwest Indiana with her husband and 2 daughters.
I have been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and in the dental field for over 30 years. I have been married for almost 10 years and step mom to two handsome boys. When I am not golfing or spending time with family, I am snuggling with my two English bulldogs.
I have been in the dental field since 2013, first assisting and then practicing hygiene. I like the proactive nature of my career. I obtained my hygiene license in Tennessee from Remington College and recently moved back to Illinois to be near family. I now live in Frankfort and love to be by the lake and spend time with my family and travel whenever I get an opportunity!
Rachel began in the dental field as a sterilization assistant in 2015. After a few years she changed her career to child care, as she worked toward her degree in social work. She continued to work at Bobbie Noonans after graduating from Valparaiso University. Rachel began working at Witkowski Dental June of 2021 in front office administration. She enjoys musical theatre, dancing, and hanging out with her dog, Hampton.
Bonnie is a 20-year front desk employee. She has also been a patient of the office since she was a small girl. In her spare time, she enjoys quilting, traveling and being with her three sons and four grandchildren.
Kelly and her husband Rick have raised their family in Mokena for the past 27 years. Kelly received her bachelors degree in health administration from Governors State University. She worked in the health and safety industry and in education before entering the dental field 13 years ago. Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and three dogs.
Claudia is a dental assistant at Witkowski Dental. She has been assisting for 11 years4 of them with Dr. LJ and Dr. Witkowski. Claudia is certified in digital dentistry and nitrous oxide administration. She resides in Tinley Park and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Gracie has been a dental assistant for over 15 years. She is certified in CEREC digital dentistry and nitrous oxide administration. She especially enjoys assisting during dental surgeries. Gracie writes the office newsletters and is involved in the office social media. She resides in the southwest suburbs with her Malinois, Logan. In her spare time, she enjoys international travel and getting to experience how other cultures live and enjoy the beauty of the world.

Dr. Witkowski, and his team are the definition of professional. My visit was the best experience I have ever had at a Dentist. I was in immense pain, and needed a root canal. Dr. Witkowski made the procedure easy, quick, and painless; which I cannot say has ever happened to me before. Everyone on the team was kind, attentive, accommodating, and charismatic. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. The facility is clean, modern, and high tech as well (3D scan of teeth, updated x-ray machines, and televisions in operation rooms to watch and help clients relax). Beautiful facility. Overall it was a top tier experience, and I will definitely be back for future dental work!

Most people dread going to the dentist. Not if you go here. Friendly staff. Very clean, and always very accommodating. They make you feel like family. They are efficient, and explain everything so you understand the entire process. My kids also enjoy going there. They think the dentist is cool. We have never had any issues there and have gone there for over 20 years. Even in a dental emergency they make that time for you! Go there, you won't regret it!!!

Dr. LJ is a great dentist. He always makes you feel comfortable and at ease. My hygienist, Stacy, does a fabulous job cleaning my teeth. The entire staff is extremely friendly. Witkowski Dental is the place to be for all your dental needs.

While having dinner with friends the other night, a crown fell out of my mouth. It was a front tooth. lol! Dr. LJ and Dr. Wit to the rescue! LJ was out of town at a dental seminar in Seattle but he sent a text to Dr. Wit, who immediately called me - while I was at the restaurant. Long story short, (the following morning,) Dr. Wit came in on his day off to attach the crown with permanent adhesive. I think it will last another lifetime! We live in Central Indiana, a three-hour drive to Witkowski Dental. We've been friends and patients for many years. Their dental expertise is amazing! We have never gone to another dentist and are happy to make the trip, knowing we're in good hands with the best dentists! Love them and thank you LJ and Dr. Wit!! They need more than 5-stars - I'd say 10!

LJ has been my dentist forever. Even though I have high anxiety about going to the dentist, I have never had a bad experience there. They are thorough and patient and the whole environment is welcoming. Stacey is usually my hygienist and she's the best, always makes sure your comfortable and talks you through what she's doing. Even my kids love them (mainly the treasure chest and the animal balloons LJ makes)

Witkowski Dental has created such a welcoming environment! We switched dentists in the middle of Covid and it was the best decision. The office is clean (remodeled) and very friendly. Dr. LJ spends time to explain different options and walks through each procedure with great detail. This is the BEST family dentist around!

Dr LJ, Dr Witt, and the entire team are AMAZING!!! They are extremely careful when performing scalings, cleanings, exams.... Everything!!!! I literally HATED the dentist prior to coming here. Stacy does my cleanings and my 4 year old son's also. She's super gentle and always explains everything she's doing and will answer any questions/concerns you have regarding your appointment or dental health. She's amazing!!! I was even able to convince my husband who has had dental trauma + extreme fear of needles to come in and now he's one of Dr LJ's regular patients. The administrative staff is also so sweet. The ladies always remember your name and even minor things that you may chat about while waiting. I always feel like I'm with family when I visit Witkowski Dental!!!!
