Dr. Charity received his dental degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1992. After dental school he went to Columbia, SC for a one year General Practice Residency at Richland Memorial Hospital. He then moved back to Florida and spent two years providing dentistry for the underprivileged at North Florida Medical Services and eight years in private practice. In January of 2000, Dr. Charity moved to Colorado Springs, CO and purchased a dental practice there. During his ten years of practicing in Colorado, he was a graduate of many courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He put much of his advanced cosmetic training to use as he provided smile makeovers for a number of Miss Colorado, Mrs. Colorado and Miss Teen Colorado pageant winners. During his time in Colorado he was also awarded the Americas Top Dentist Award and also the Colorado 5280 Top Dentist Award which was voted on by his dental peers. In 2010 Dr. Charity moved with his wife Kimberly and his two children Halana and Caleb to Olathe, KS. When he is not working or spending time with family, Dr. Charity serves at his church and enjoys his bow hunting passion.

Lenexa Family Dental does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

The care, professionalism, and expertise is paramount with Dr Charity and his staff. I always know that I am getting the best dental care with this practice. I am currently getting a new crown with Dr Charity and I've been extremely pleased with the progress. He even took the time to call me personally later that evening to check on my condition. Who does that? . I can 100% recommend Dr Charity and his staff. As for cleaning, I go to Krista, one if his hygienists. She is also very good at her profession. Great practice overall!! Needed to go back today for another issue and yet again consistent, outstanding service. Dr Charity is just a true professional and his attention to detail is in his DNA. Plus the entire staff is top notch. I am thankful to go to this dental practice. I can not recommend Dr Charity and his staff enough.

From the beginning, Dr. Charity and his staff behaved as though I was their only patient, explaining their recommendations of treatment and answering my questions at length. Special care was taken to make the procedure as painless as possible, and Dr. Charity called me after hours to make sure all was well. From start to finish everyone was friendly, caring and explained in detail everything they were going to do. After a few years of bad experiences at another location I was overly nervous to see any dentist again. Dr. Charity and his team have me almost looking forward to my appointments. Dr Charity reached out personally to welcome me to the clinic and he followed up personally after every procedure. I assumed it was somehow automated (because who is really that good?) until I needed something last Saturday and I texted him back. I was so thankful I could connect with him. He responded on a Saturday, consulted with an oral surgeon same day and gave up way too much of his non work time to make sure I was okay. You can tell Dr. Charity not only cares about his patients but also his team. When the staff respects and likes their owner at a level that it's noticeable it's natural for me to trust him as well. If you have delayed dental care, need regular care or are looking for a dentist you can trust and that knows your name this is the dentist. Did I mention I spoke with Dr. Charity more at my January appointments than any dentist combined ever? He doesn't just stop by after your cleaning pat your shoulder and say looks good, floss more and we will see you in 6 months. I also assumed because of all the great reviews online there was an internal push for patients to leave a review (because again who really is that good?). Nobody mentioned or solicited reviews at any time during my care or after. I don't review often but sometimes you just have to share this level of professionalism and care. Everyone in the office is wonderful from checkin to checkout they are all very kind. Without hesitation I recommend Dr Charity and the entire staff at Lenexa Family Dental and I have been to friends since my first appointment. They are next to the Walgreens on 87th if you see a similar option you want the dentist by the Walgreens. ;).

Dr. Charity is amazing. I had the privilege to work with such an amazing doctor & staff the short time that I lived in Kansas. I can tell you he is the most carrying & honest Doctor that I have ever worked for. The culture that Lenexa Family Dental has is genuine & the Doctor and staff really does care about the quality of care they provide for each patient. Dr. Charity takes his time to educate all of his patients & teaches his employees to treat each patient as if they were a family member to give each patient the best quality of care. Dr. Charity makes it his goal to make sure his employees are being educated constantly through classes to upgrade not only the employees & company, but to provide the best quality of patient care you can find in the dental field. Patients can feel the difference when they come to Lenexa Family Dental. I give this practice 5 stars all the way. I am not saying this only because I had worked here before but because it's really rare to find a dental practice with a doctor & staff that share the same quality & morals in the dental field. I promise you that you won't be disappointed & will be so happy you decided to go to Lenexa Family Dental.
