There are three elementsat the heart of Dr. Lemons dental practice; his compassionate approach to patient relationships, his comprehensive range of dental services, and the modern technology he uses to ensure that every procedure he performs is as stress-free and comfortable as possible for his patients.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. Lemon obtained his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington in 1990. After working as a systems analyst for Andersen Consulting and Nike, Inc., he pursued a career in dentistry and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1999.
Dr. Lemon started his private practice in Aberdeen in July of 1999 and strives to provide the best possible dental health care for his patients. With the help of his dedicated team, his practice has grown to include another office in Olympia.
Dr. Lemons main focus centers around his family: His wife, Patty of 23 years, and their three children, Fiona, Phoebe, and Kai.Avid fitness enthusiasts, their free time is filled with bike rides, fitness activities, and exploring cultural foods. Recent lifetime highlights include traveling to China and cycling around Mt. Rainier in one day.
Dr. Elissa Maynard joined the team atLemonFamily Dental in 2018. Dr. Maynard received her dental training at the University of Washington, receiving her DDS with a solid background in conservative and evidenced based dentistry.Dedicated to staying up to date with the latest evidence based dental care techniques, Dr. Maynard is a member of the Spear South Sound Study Club, a dental study club comprised of local South Sound Dental professionals. Through continuing education, she is able to provide the best care options for each patients specific needs. Each year she takes courses through the University of Washington and local, state, and national dental organizations, to learn about new technology, procedures, and materials.
Dr. Maynard is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association as well as the Thurston-Mason County Dental Association. She has also served multiple terms as the President of the Lewis County Dental Association. She was inducted in 2017 into the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an honorary dental service organization recognizing leaders in the profession.
The art and science of dentistry were what originally drew her to the profession. Through the years she has found that she enjoys being able to get to know her patients and feels grateful to have been able to connect with so many wonderful people. She loves building relationships with her patients. Living a happy, healthy life and enjoying life to its fullest is a goal that Dr. Maynard has for herself, her team and her patients. She believes that a healthy smile is an important part of this larger goal.
Prior to joining the Lemon Dental team, Dr. Maynard worked as a dentist in Community Health. A proud native Washingtonian, Dr. Maynard was a college softball pitcher at Saint Martins University, where she graduated as the Valedictorian. While in college she fell in love with the Olympia community and the abundance of outdoor recreation the South Sound has for us to enjoy. Her education at Saint Martins reinforced the high value she has for health, continuing education, and giving back to community.

From the cloud-based software used by his staff to communicate and educate patients, to the hi-tech camera he uses to perform thorough exams, you can rest assured knowing that this practice is committed to providing advanced dental technology in a hometown environment.
Comprehensive Exams using an Intra Oral Camera - Using a small camera, no larger than the mirror we are all accustomed to seeing in the dentist's office, Dr. Lemon can examine every aspect of your mouth and teeth with incredible detail. There are many advantages to using this technology:
Digital X-Rays -Digital X-rays are far superior and much safer for patients. They provide clearer images, are much more comfortable and less invasive than traditional X-rays. Additionally, they save time and expose patients to 80% less radiation than typical X-rays.
Cutting Edge Lab Partner - At Lemon Family Dental all lab cases are sent to ZIEMEK, a local, family-owned DAMAS certified dental lab. I love Lemon Family Dental! The office is nice and clean, and every person there is professional and considerate. They do amazing work and they make sure you're comfortable throughout the appointment. For those select few who already love the dentist's office, like me, you'll be happy to know that they use stellar equipment too. Seriously, if you're on the fence about going with Lemon, don't be - they're the best!

I am a very nervous person about having my teeth touched. I haven't had a pleasant experience with the dentist ever until now. I have to highly recommend this clinic. I'm literally not afraid to come to my next appointment where as I hadn't been to the dentist in ten years prior! They were so kind and gentle. The dental assistant took so much time to explain everything in detail before it was done. She checked in with me by asking how are you doing in the middle of my cleaning when I flinched. This level of care I believe is rare to find and I cannot express in words all my gratitude! Just wow ! Thank you all the staff for making it a place I know I can return to for the rest of my future dental needs.

The best dentist office I've ever been to. Everyone is so welcoming and nice! They all work very well together which makes treatment and scheduling a breeze. The office is clean and bright and organized. Truly blown away at the professionalism and the caring treatment I received. I found my forever dentist.

Charlie was SO AWESOME! I was nervous about switching dentists but the front desk, hygienist and dentist all made my experience great. I would recommend this for anyone thinking about them as a potential dentist.

Lemon's Dental staff (especially that female dentist and front desk) are very unprofessional, insulting (made insulting wise cracks about our multiracial family for no reason), and had no idea what they were doing. Told them we will not return and still received annoying phone calls trying to schedule appointments. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else more professional.

Dr. Lemon's office is very professional and they do a fabulous job of making you feel comfortable and relaxed. The hygienist have always been gentle and thorough. You almost feel like you are at a spa... no kidding! Dr. Maynard recently did some work on a tooth and she made it very easy to endure. Hardly experienced any discomfort other than having to keep my mouth open for a while which is unavoidable. The staff explains everything to you that they are doing. Highly recommend if you are needing a great dentist!
