Our team is dedicated to staying at the leading edge of our profession while striving to understand the individual needs and desires of each patient.
A native of the Kansas City area, Dr. Lemieux was captivated by the charm of the Brookside neighborhood. After graduating from the University of Kansas with his undergraduate degree in Biology, Dr. Lemieux attended the UMKC School of Dentistry. More than 30 years ago, Dr. Lemieux purchased this practice.
Dr. Lemieux stays current with state-of-the-art technology and advances in dentistry through many hours of post-graduate training. He holds memberships with the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society.
When hes away from the dental office, Dr. Lemieux spends his time with his family. He and his wife, Cheri, have four sons: Brent, Max, Joe, and Sam. The Lemieux family members are diehard KU fans and also enjoy following Sporting Kansas City.
Dr. Suter studied biology at Western Illinois University and then attended the Creighton University School of Dentistry, where she graduated with her DDS. Dr. Suter is passionate about changing peoples lives through their smiles and loves the way that patients are treated like family in the office.
She enjoys baking and decorating sugar cookies, spending time with her dog, running, playing soccer, and creating elaborate Halloween costumes for her and her husband, Noah. She is a strong supporter of the CCVI Trolley Run and the Down Syndrome Guild of GKCs Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk.
Arlene has been helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles from our location since 1977. She joined Dr. Lemieuxs team at its beginning in 1991. Arlene has a dental hygiene degree from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Arlene and her husband, Bernie, are passionate about spending time with their grandchildren. They have two daughters, Brandy, a physician who lives in Chicago, and Stacy, a human resource benefits specialist who resides here in Kansas City.
Augustine, or Auggy, has 35+ years of experience in dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA). Auggy loves the patient-focused, caring tone in the family atmosphere at Dr. Lemieuxs office and is passionate about treating all people equally.
Outside of the office, Auggy is a full-time caregiver for her mother who lives with her and her husband, Dale. Auggy enjoys movies, fitness, and spending time with her family, including visiting her son, Quentin, in Los Angeles. She is an avid Mizzou basketball fan and loves watching her great-niece, who is a frequent guest in her home.
Emily joined our practice in 1993. She has a bachelors degree in Journalism and has worked in the field of marketing. A recovered dental coward herself, she enjoys watching how anxious patients are put to ease by their experiences in our office.
Outside of work, Emilys passion is leading small groups and training their leaders, but she is most proud of her roles as a wife to David and mom to Sarah and Laura. For two summers, as part of a radiation relief effort, her family has had the privilege of hosting a girl from Belarus, one of the countries most impacted by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
Trisha is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who has a bachelors degree in dental hygiene from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She first joined our staff in 1988, has years of experience working in a periodontal practice, and has served on the UMKC Dental Hygiene Alumni Board.
In addition to her love for dentistry, she is passionate about fundraising for education for at-risk children and helping them succeed in non-traditional academic environments. Trisha loves to travel, golf and spend time with her husband, Mark, three sons, Joshua, Brendan and Mason, and dog, Copper.
Kaleigh is a chair-side assistant and also completes administrative tasks at the office. She loves the friendly relationships that are developed with patients and enjoys our family atmosphere. She is from Olathe, has a degree in science, and has Texas roots, so she loves Whataburgers! Kaleigh likes camping, disc golfing, playing guitar and country music. She is a K-State fan and loves animals, including her two dogs, Chrissie and Cassie, and her turtle named Snaps. Kaleigh is passionate about equipping women to overcome situations of abuse and violence.
