Dr. Kara K. Lembo grew up in Cedarville, MI and attended Les Cheneaux Community Schools K-12. She worked with her father, John J. Scherer, DDS, who practices dentistry in Cedarville, MI,which is where she found her passion for dentistry through her involvement with patients in her fathers dental practice.
She then went to Central Michigan University for her undergraduate studies in biology and pre-dental. She attended The University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry and graduated in May 2003. Dr. Lembo started her own dental practice in Shelby Township, MI in August 2004 and was very successful for 5 years, prior to moving to Charlotte, NC.
She moved with her family to join her sister, Dr. Lindsay S. Montgomery to fulfill her lifelong dream of practicing dentistry with her sister. Dr. Lembo has two children: Joey 7years old and Isabel 5yrs old, as well as a loving and supporting husband, Joe of 15 years. Dr. Lembo enjoys outdoor activities and being with her family.

First-class practice! Did my initial visit yesterday and everyone there tried hard to make my visit a positive experience. The only negative is that it took months of waiting to get my appointment. Frustrating, but the outcome was awesome.

I had a crown fall out, that has been in since 1973. As dark as the tooth was, they could have sold me a new filling and crown because I thought there was a lot of decay under the crown. The Dentist said no decay just dark from old root canal. They recemened the crown and I was on my way. I feel WOW what an honest place to have my dental work done. I had a cleaning a few days later and again great service and they take my insurance. My wife has been there and is extremely Happy with the work they have done for her. Even though I seen Doctor Lembo who is fantastic, since I am Retired Navy, she told me her sister Doctor Montgomery was also a dentist in the US Navy. So if you want great service from the front desk to the the people who take great care of you in the back, then make an appointment with them.

I absolutely love the L&M team! From the moment you walk in they put you right at ease. The massage chair and tv are a plus but it really is the staff that keeps me returning every 6 months! My family and I would not use another dentist office. My son feels comfortable enough to go by his self to the dentist. He has a great relationship with Dr Montgomery. Both Dr Montgomery and Dr Lembo are great dentist. They make you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Staff is great too!!
