Dr. Robert Leitner, cosmetic and family dentist, has built a reputation for comprehensive family and esthetic dentistry in Ocean Township for over 30 years. Personally, Dr. Leitner has been married for over 30 years to Amy who is a special education teacher. Together, they have three children (Ali, Sari and Michael) who enjoy traveling and being with their new rescue dog, Milo. Dr. Leitner enjoys keeping busy with many different activities. You can find him on the ski slopes, golf courses, pickleball courts, fishing piers, boating, or most recently, riding around on his new scooter. I am always so pleased with the warm greeting from the staff at Dr. Leitner's office. They are ready for me on time and I receive an update of my health care and steps for continuous protective care. Going to the dentist is now a pleasure. My smile says it all. Thank You Dr. Leitner.

Competent, yet unprofessional and obnoxious. He will not send your dental records to another dentist -- I was forced to contact the NJ State Board of Dentistry. Took 50 days (the law is 30 days) -- commonly dentists transfer records to dentists via email in 1 to 3 days. Not this one!

My family has been going to Dr. Robert Leitner for over 20 years. Dr. Leitner is extremely professional and competent. It is a priority to provide pain-free dentistry. He also uses the latest technology and methods to provide basic dental services and also to solve difficult problems while providing a gentle touch. This practice provides most dental services but will never exert pressure. Equally important is the cleanliness and safety of the office. All instruments and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and health precautions are taken above and beyond. His staff of hygienists are highly trained, capable and very personable. Along with Dr. Leitner and his hygienists is his very personable and efficient office staff, especially Kelly! The entire office has a great welcoming environment while providing excellent dental care.

I first went to Dr. Leitner in an emergency, and he stayed later to accommodate me even though I wasn't his patient. I found him to be very knowledgable and kind. I switched over to his practice even though it's a bit of a ride because he always puts his patients first.

I discovered Leitner Dental Arts when I first moved to Asbury Park in 2006. In 2012 when I relocated to North Jersey, I found myself dreading going to the local dentist. The NNJ dentist was nice....but I felt like they were finding work to be done in my mouth just for insurance money. They never won my trust. Eventually, I opted to drive an hour down the parkway to return to a dentistry that I trusted and actually enjoyed visiting. Oh, did I mention they play classic rock on Sirius/XM while they work on you? That won me over from day one! The staff is so friendly and Dr. Leitner is is like an ol' friend that you see every six months.

Dr. Leitner and his office staff are exceptional. We have been with Doctor Leitner's practice since the early 90's. He is professional with the upmost patience with his patients !!!!! Whatever the issue , he and his office staff have ALWAYS taken the time and expertise to address any issues. The office staff is fabulous at reminding you of upcoming appointments while working with your busy schedule. Even on a 10 degree day in January ... (1/6/18) Dr Leitner and his staff help make the visit a warming experience. !!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Leitner for a few years now. He is wonderful and his staff- the BEST. I just completed my Invisalign treatment and am ecstatic about the results. Invisalign exceeded my expectations in every way. The process was quick and effortless and the braces-practically invisible. If you are debating on getting Invisalign I highly recommend w/ Leitner. Wish I did it sooner!
