Dr. Bruce Haggerty started Leisure Dental to help people relieve their dental pain, to improve and maintain their healthy smiles, and to provide affordabledental care to communities in need in the Norfolk, VA area.
He earned his bachelors in biology with a minor in chemistry from Prairie View A&M University. While there, he participated in Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society and was also an active member in his university pre-dental club. Afterward, Dr. Haggerty attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry where heearned his D.D.S.
While in Texas, Dr. Haggerty met his now wife, who was stationed there in the United States Navy. Soon they received orders to move to Virginia and where they started their new life together in Hampton Roads.
