DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL. If I could give this place a 0, I would. From unprofessionalism to being told to stop calling when I requested my own medical records, this place truly needs to be shut down for professionalism and customer service alone. I initially was seen in the office in November of 2021, I requested a referral to get my wisdom teeth extracted and did not receive a copy of my referral until late December (untimely act on their part). Moving forward, I attempted to get scheduled with an oral surgeon, but they needed my x-rays be sent over. Unfortunately, the oral surgery office requested the records on TWO dates but it was radio silence from Leisure Dental. On a separate note, I requested my x-rays be emailed on three other days, and to no prevail, radio silence. The front desk clerk was rude when I called on a Friday, did not send over my documents, and of course they're closed on Mondays. My initial visit with them, I was excited because its black owned. But black owned does not mean good service. In November, I remember the dentist and his staff praying over me (don't know why, it was weird as hell). Then the dentist began ranting about COVID vaccines and how he was not going to get it, not to mention he was wearing an I LOVE JESUS shirt. Then asked me about my profession and stated that it was no good and that when the world ends, physical trades like dentistry was more important. I had to sit through this conversation for 45 mins. He also sprayed me multiple times in the face with water, the assistant did not suction correctly. He also forcibly told me that I needed to get my cavity refixed because the last place I went to did not do it correctly. I was numb for two days, and now that tooth is hypersensitive. I firmly believe he drilled too much of my tooth off. In addition to that, he had a training dental hygienist clean my teeth with NO SUPERVISION. She was rough, moved too quickly, and was incorrect in her cleaning. I would not recommend this place to do dental work on a chicken. It's sad, I was hoping they were going to be great, and it was going to be amazing to have a black provider, but since, I've only ran into trouble. Don't go here. Period.

From the receptionists to the hygienist to the dentist I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Coming from someone with crippling anxiety and never being in a dentist office, it was nonexistent. Thank you so very much to Dr. Haggerty and his team !

They are always booked for new patients. They take your name and never call you back when they are accepting new patients. SMH

I absolutely have to give them a great review. They got me in made me comfortable and took care of my problem was painless and I could not be happier highly recommend them

I've been calling since May to schedule an appointment. They have not gotten back to me, even after calling multiple times. It is now July and they told me to call back in October when they have availability. If you want good service and a company that cares about you, do not go here.

It's a great dentist they just leave you in the back for 3 whole hours then decide to come service u ... literally you'll spend your whole day here they need more people or people don't be working

I have had alot of work done at Leisure dental over the past two months. They are so wonderful, kind, and have that great sense of urge to care. I would not recommend any other dentistry outside of them. If I had to give them any criticism it would be that they dont offer implants as an option for dentures. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. It is more like a family instead of a dentistry they seriously make you feel welcomed and they show out pouring amounts of love. Thank you Leisure dental :)

Great place ( I love it's black owned) ! The staff was very friendly & the Dr.was too ....I was in pain .. He was fast the staff was fast... He numb me really good .. I felt nothing. I recommend this dentistry.. I will be back soon for a cleaning !!!

Leisure Dental is God sent!! The staff was very professional and attentive to my concerns and establish a plan of care to address my dental needs. The dentist and assistant made me feel so comfortable and procedure was both quick and painless.

This is a black owned establishment and the doctor and staff are AMAZING out of all 29 years on this earth this have to be the best dentist experience ever. Him and his team are phenomenal and they work want a team to make sure he gains your trust and make you feel comfortable. He's also extremely quick. Thank you all for everything !

Each time I visited this place, something bad happened. First time I went there, they cancelled my appt as the lady wrote down my wrong info including dob and phone number, even when I called a week prior to verify my appointment since I haven't heard anything. Luckily, they were able to squeeze me in within an hour for my cleaning and X-rays. My next appt was to refill cavities. I spent 4 hours at this appointment. A dentist appointment shouldn't take that long, but if you are wondering why, I'll break it down. First, they had the wrong treatment plan written down for me. They stated my chart must have gotten mixed up. Second, I sat in the chair with my mouth open too long as the dentist talked to the dental asst about how she said date and the reason for his divorce. I would have let it passed but he could not talk and work at the same time. Every time he told more of his story or offered his advice, he had to pause from working on my mouth. The last thing that sent me over, was they over charged me by $100 when I checked my insurance the next week and stated I had to wait 30 days for them to process my return! I had to call them on day 30 and the lady said "thank God you called me as I couldn't remember who I was supposed to be doing a refund for". I am back to looking for another black dentist

They took me as emergency I was looking for a dentist that took medicade and I had a bad infection Dr H is the best. staff was very patient wit me and very helpful. he tells you what has to be done and listens to youi would recommend everyone to them Praise God for company like his last of all I give God all the glory

This dental practice is absolutely amazing. To the front desk staff, on to the dentist everyone was very accommodating and professional. The Dentist actually cares how you feel about your smile.And they accept all types of insurance. I would recommend this establishment to anybody.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had to beg them for months to give me back a refund that was obligated due to a delayed insurance payment. They have yet to give us back our dental records even after I requested a written confirmation for their denial. I am currently getting legal advice for that. My wife and I went in for a routine cleaning and check-up. We were rushed because they were multi-tasking between clients. No flossing, no powered tooth brush, no fluoride treatment, not even mouth wash. They just scrapped a bit of plaque off and told us to come back for cavity treatment. We went to another dentist for a real cleaning, and they confirmed there were no cavities seen. We were robbed, cheated, and lied to at this place. I wish they had cared to do better. Come here at your own risk.
