Dr. Leinassar graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences School of Dentistry in 1975 & has dedicated his professional career to providing you with the best that dentistry has to offer. He is continually improving his practice with the latest techniques & products to bring you state-of-the-art, personalized dental care in a sterile, safe environment.
Dr. Leinassar has completed over 2,000 hours of continuing education courses & studied all areas of dentistry, including cosmetic, sedation & implant dentistry. Dr. Leinassar is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the Academy of General Dentistry & the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to his membership in numerous dental associations, Dr. Leinassar is the only accredited member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry within 95 miles & is one of only six in the entire state of Oregon.

Hello, my name is Keely Huber. I joined the Leinassar Dental Excellence team in July 2016 as Financial Administrator. I was born in Arizona & lived in Astoria 9th grade, then graduated from EauClaire High School in EauClaire, WI. I returned to Oregon in 2009 to pursue a degree in Mortuary Science at Mt. Hood Community College, graduating in 2011 with a degree in Embalming & Funeral Directing. After graduating, I moved back to Astoria to be closer to my husband. We have three beautiful children between the two of us. They keep us very busy! In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends & family, camping, being outdoors & running my photography business. I absolutely love being a part of the Leinassar Dental Excellence team!
My name is Julie Visser. An Oregon Coast native, I graduated in 2006 from the University of Tampa with a BS in Chemistry before attending dental hygiene school in Portland. I was Valedictorian of my class & I thoroughly enjoy improving the oral health of my patients. My hobbies include golfing, cooking, vacationing & spending time with my family.
My name is Marissa McGinnis & I was born & raised in Astoria. I graduated from University of Oregon with a BS in Psychology & received my AAS in Dental Hygiene from Portland Community College. I moved back to the coast upon graduation & joined Dr. Jeffs amazing team in 2016. I am excited to be back in my hometown practicing dental hygiene & look forward to educating my patients on how to improve their oral health. My hobbies include spending time with my fianc & our two dogs, family & friends, traveling, concerts & the occasional game of golf.
Hello, my name is Carrie Jasmin. I am a Dental Assistant here at Leinassar Dental Excellence. I began working here in 1992 after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Apollo College in Portland, OR. I enjoy the many aspects of my job & credit Dr. Jeff for being a great mentor. I am married to my wonderful husband Sam Jasmin, & we are blessed with three beautiful daughters, Brandi, Kayla & Emma. We love living on the Oregon Coast & enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Always on time and my hygienist is so thorough. Dr. Leinassar takes his clients and staff seriously at all times. The entire staff are tops in my book. They have me for life! They're the best ever!

Deeply grateful to be given an appointment for the following day whilst on a road trip from California. Was having horrible pain in a tooth that had already had a root canal and crown. They did an X-ray and consulted with me about the best way to manage this probable tooth fracture in a way that would get me home to my own dentist. Dr Leinassar shaved down the bite so that I could eat without horrific pain and wrote a prescription for pain killers. Kind and thoughtful staff and dentist. Thank you, thank you!

My experience at Leinassar dental Excellence has been more than satisfactory in many ways for both my wife and myself. Doctor Jeff has made special accommodations for me as I have a hearing disorder. He has altered my care plan to modify the dental treatment and provide greater comfort during procedures. The entire staff have been thoughtful and engaged. They show a genuine concern for my oral health and general well being. My sincerest thanks to Doctor Leinassar and the team!

I don't know if this place is a scam or what. My husband scheduled a teeth cleaning 6 months in advance (that was the earliest they could do). He went in this morning, got X-rays, then waiting for nearly an hour, and was seen by the dentist without getting the cleaning. When he asked when he was going to get his teeth cleaned, they said this was an "exam only" appointment. I was sitting next to him when he set up this appointment for a full cleaning, and he explained that he had discoloration on a tooth and he needed a full cleaning and to get that area checked out. He was there a total of 1.5 hours, just made to wait again and again and never received a cleaning. I've never been to a dentist that examined a patient without them having their teeth cleaned first. Bizarre practice. He waited 6 months for nothing.

I've been going to Dr. Leinassar for years! I started when I was a child and off and on through my adult life. I've used him continuously for the last 10 years or more. Him and his team are always courteous and helpful! They give you options for what you can do with your teeth. You as a patient are part of the whole process. He explains the steps prior to the procedure and even during. Always making me feel comfortable!

Really outstanding practice in every way! Dr Jeff's technique of Novocain injections is about as painless as can be. Attention to detail, state of the art equipment, not to mention the best river view of any dentist in the area. Dr Jeff has years of experience and it shows in his approach and kindness. The very best dentist I've ever been to, and I've been to a couple of very good ones. Amazing the quality of care in our little town of Astoria!

The best dental experience of my life. Dr. Jeff is as good as it gets -- not only in Oregon, but in any city I've lived around the world. And what a remarkable team he has supporting him! Stellar cleanings, intricate work to repair teeth following an accident, personalized attention, phenomenal service, clear communication, an amazing atmosphere, top notch safety protocol... I honestly cannot say enough about what an amazing practice this is. Thank you from a client who is happily and gratefully smiling!

Best dentist I have seen in 20 years! I changed to a different dental office because I was not happy with my last dental office that I had gone to for almost 20 years. Dr 'Jeffs" office staff is awesome. Dr Jeff is very personable, not only with you but his staff as well! I had some extensive dental work done and he and his staff made sure I was comfortable! I'm not a big person with change... But I finally made the plunge to change and go see him. Never been happier. I LOVE my new smile DR Jeff!
