I graduated from University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry in 1986. I have been practicing dentistry for thirty years at my previous location in Eastpointe Michigan, and recently relocated the dental practice to Fraser Michigan.

I grew up with dentistry in my family, and followed the same path. My great aunt practiced until she was 90 in her own home. Two of my great uncles were also dentists. My cousin is a practicing dentist in Florida. When I was growing up as a teenager, I used to clean the dental office when it was located in Eastpointe Michigan, and formerly owned by Dr. Michael Linebaugh. In 1988 I took over and bought the practice.

Our experienced staff is especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care.

I came into this practice with zero experience, previously working on the line at Chrysler. I realized that is not what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I came here, self taught, and excelled. This is my passion. I have been working in this office for two years now. I have a wonderful husband, and a stepson who means the world to me. My hobbies include spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, and swimming.

i have been a hygienist since 1984. I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago. I enjoy teaching people how to care for their mouth and maintain a healthy smile. My hobbies include tennis, camping, and essential oil education. I'm married to my husband Kent for 27 years, and we enjoy spending time with our two sons.

Dental x-rays are a vital diagnostic tool for dentists, but many patients worry about the radiation that they are being exposed to. The truth is, exposeure to radiation from dental x-rays is minimal. The dosage of X-ray radiation received by a dental patient is typically small (around 0.150 mSv for a full mouth series, according to the American Dental Association website), equivalent to a few days' worth of background environmental radiation exposure, or similar to the dose received during a cross-country airplane flight (concentrated into one short burst aimed at a small area). Incidental exposure is further reduced by the use of a lead shield, in the form of a lead apron.

FACT #1 - Dental x-rays are for more then just cavities. Dental x-rays gives the dentist a more comprehensive look at the overall structure of the teeth. This is very helpful in locating and treating certain cavities, but x-ray films are also used to identify erupting teeth, detect bone diseases, evaluate the results of injuries, and treat conditions that are not easily detected in normal clinical exams.

Fact #2 - Dental x-rays are especially important for children. X-rays are crucial for children because their teeth are growing and changing so rapidly. Plus, children are more susceptible to tooth decay than adults. For children prone to tooth decay, the American Pediatric dental Association recommends x-rays be taken every six months to catch the tooth decay early.

Fact #3 - Dental x-rays are only taken when necessary. The ADA recommends for an adult with decay present and an increased risk for cavities, to have bitewing x-rays taken every six to twelve months, whereas someone with no decay or increased risk mar be able to go as long as two years.

Fact #4 - Dental x-rays are much safer then ever before. Contemporary safeguards have lessened the amount of radiation from dental xrays more then ever before. We provide lead body aprons and shields to wear. X-rays are taken more quickly with high speed film. Last but not least, the xray beam is restricted to the area of interest with other areas being blocked out.

One final way to reduce radiation? If your x-rays are two years old or less, avoid getting a new set of x-rays when you change to a new dentist, Ask your previous dentist to send copies of your x-rays to your new dentist.

My fiance had her teeth removed. A poor rush job and several visits to get her mis shapen oversized dentures re ground over and over without checking what actually needed done. New mold and do it right. You dont keep taking a messed up fit and grinding it down. She uses a tube of adhesive twice a week. They have LARGE gaps!!! Not very proffessional

I was given poor service that left my mouth and my wallet hurting. The secretary is unorganized, there is one "so called" dentist working and she rushed over the procedure to yell and argue my rating about their poor service. The other dentist assistants don't do there jobs just socialize and gossip about their patients. I was treated like a stranger when I paid full price for good service only to be harassed and mistreated. Don't believe the hype of these overrated reviews like I did, go somewhere else. It's literally a hole in the wall dentisty.

I have a tremendous fear of dentists due to my negative experiences as a child. I have carried some of these fears Into adulthood. Let me tell you I have been an extremely satisfied patient of Dr. Snyder for over fifteen years. She is an amazing dentist due to her level of knowledge, patience, professionalism, empathy and conscientious. She takes the time to make sure the dental work she is doing is better than right. She goes the extra mile. I recently went in for unexpected dental work this week. I got a quick appt. and as usual she did an amazing job. I highly recommend her.

Has been my dentist over 25 years! Her staff of hygienists are very friendly, but professional. Good with children and will work out payment plans to suit your needs. You'll have a good all around experience!

Dr. Snyder and her entire staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. We're new to the area and this was our first time here, but we'll definitely be back.

Dr. Snyder is an excellent dentist and her staff are wonderful. We have been seeing her for over a year, and I highly recommend her. Today she drilled out and filled my 6 year old's cavity. He was happy and relaxed almost the entire time. He enjoyed handing her the "tooth pillows" as she worked, giving him s chance to be involved in his own care. I'm not at all worried he will become afraid of the needle under Dr. Snyder's care. In fact, he looks forward to going to see her because he gets to look in the treasure box at the end of the visit. And because of our visits, he now flosses his own teeth daily.

We were beyond pleased with our experience with Dr Snyder's dental practice! My Son (6) had his first set of x-rays and any child could fear the unknown. The dental hygienist was phenomenal! She made him laugh and directed every notion she was doing so he wasn't confused or nervous. Highly recommended to anyone especially if you're in the Fraser area, so close to home and conveniently located! Slightly hidden (next door to eclipse burger/ across from police dep) but very presentable staff and so clean inside!

I would recommend Dr. Snyder to my friends and family. The staff is very friendly, the office is clean and Dr. Snyder has a personal touch with her patients. In addition, she is very knowledgeable. My son and I have only been to the office twice but we felt welcomed.
