After earning her bachelors degree in Biology from Lamar University - Beaumont, Dr. Leifeste graduated with honors from the University of Texas Dental Branch (UTBD) Houston with her Doctorate of dental surgery. She then completed a General Practice Residency through Hermann Hospital.
Dr. Leifeste is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and maintains professional memberships in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and The Dental Society of South East Texas.
I strive daily to use my unique God-given gifts to enrich the lives of everyone around me, saysDr. Leifeste. She is a volunteer dentist through Orange Christian Services and is involved in international missions and mentoring. In addition, she enjoys teaching as an adjunct assistant professor at The University of Texas School of Dentistry Houston.
International missions are a vital part of my life as a dentist. Whether my travels take me as far as the remote reaches of India or Latin America I am blessed to be able to serve the underserved. God has blessed me with a unique skill set that I can use to bless so many that have no access to dental care or are unable to obtain it.
To have had such rich humanitarian opportunities leaves me speechless at times, recharged always and humbled daily. I believe it is our mandate to 'love God and love people' and to 'look after the widows and orphans in their distress.' I have made this mandate my life 's quest and am blessed richly in the process.
Teaching dental students is a long-held passion of mine. I have maintained a faculty position at the University of Texas School of Dentistry for over 20 years. I so enjoy sharing my own experiences in dental practice with the students as they transition from student to practicing dentistry.

I had a tooth break off a partial late in the afternoon, called the office and got in the next morning...it was fixed by noon that day...Dr. and staff are awesome !! I highly recommend them !!

Dr. Leifeste is an excellent Dentist, and everyone in her office is professional and friendly. You not only enjoy your visit to the dentist, but the work is exceptional. I had a lot of work done with no pain. I wish I had come here years ago.

I just can't even put into words about Dr. Leifeste and her entire staff! I told her today in the middle of my root canal that "everyone should have a Nina in their life!" From Patricia at the front office to Loretta in the back who keeps me laughing and everyone in between! They honestly make you feel like family and that YOU MATTER! You are not just a number! You will NOT go wrong in picking this wonderful lady and her staff as your dentist! MUCH LOVE TO YOU DR. LEIFESTE

This is a very family friendly office. I switched dentist and I am so happy I did. This place goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of your specific needs. From the receptionist at the front desk, the dental hygienist, and then Dr. Leifeste herself went to her when I was younger and she is amazing . Would highly recommend you switching from wherever your going to here!

I went to see Dr. Nina Leifeste today. I am from Austin and needed a dentist immediately due to a tooth hurting. She was gentle and explained everything she was doing and why. She didn't jump to major work but took time to look and listen to what had been going on. The cost was very reasonable (I don't have dental insurance) for the time she took and the treatment I received. A big thank you to Dr Leifeste and her staff for being one of the best dentist and dental offices I have ever been to.

Such wonderful people, it's like they specialize in traumatic situations, I can't wait for my next appointment, they make me feel pampered, it's almost like a spa day where they focus on your mouth, no pain at all, just loving kindness.

The Leifeste dental practice is the absolute best dentist experience that I have had in my 72 years. Dr. Leifeste and her whole team operated with excellence . They are courteous, kind and genuinely concerned with the welfare of there patients. Mallory, the hygienist, was gentle and thorough in my cleaning and made sure I was comfortable throughout my cleaning procedure. I highly recommend Leifeste Dental for all your dental needs.

Kind, caring, patient, thorough. I wouldn't go anywhere else for dental care. They love their patients and you see it the minute you walk in. I especially LOVE the weighted blanket they use if seeing a dentist makes you nervous. Thank you for such great care!
