I was raised in the small fishing town of Naknek, Alaska in the heart of Bristol Bay. Growing up there I enjoyed the outdoors, basketball and any type of fishing, especially flyfishing. Tying flies and chasing rainbows was my main passion. I enjoy working with my hands and I knew at an early age that I wanted to become a dentist.
After graduating from Bristol Bay Borough High School I traveled to the University of Oregon where I received my Bachelors of Science degree and experienced my first college football game. Go Ducks! During those summers I commercial fished and picked up the trade of an electrician working construction. Shortly after graduation, I was accepted into dental school at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
My four years in South Florida was a true eye opener. So many different cultures, people, music, sports and so many different species of fish to chase. I really enjoyed my time there but knew that I wanted to come back home to Alaska to practice and raise a family. My long journey cross country lead me to Soldotna and I have been practicing here on the Peninsula since 2003.
I enjoy living on the Kenai Peninsula because it reminds me of home with endless country to explore, a close knit community and a lot of streams to fish. I'm very thankful for all the services we have here, the great people who live and work here, my wonderful friends/mentors and the beautiful landscapes we have right outside our front doors.
After four years of associating and working for a community health clinic in Kenai, I opened up my own private practice in 2007. I am truly thankful for all of the support of my friends/mentors, family and especially the families who have been coming to see me for dental services all of these years. My professional goal is to be able to treat people to the best of my abilities for generations to come. My personal goal is to have as much fun as possible raising my family here on the Kenai Peninsula.
Devon is a Registered Dental Hygienist and has been working at Legends Dental since 2013. She received her Associate of Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2013. She is certified in CPR/BLS training and is licensed to administer local anesthetics. Devon also continues to further her educations and knowledge through CE courses in order to provide the utmost care for our patients. She was born and raised in Soldotna and thoroughly enjoys adventuring in the great outdoors with her family and friends.

Going to this dental office has literally been one of the best experiences of my life. I had a big blemish on my teeth for a very long time, and it really affected my confidence when I smiled. I was convinced for years I was just stuck like this. My hygienist Devon did a spectacular job on my cleanings (no pain at all) and Dr George performed miracles with the fillings. Everyone there is so nice and they really want you to have the best smile. Now when I smile, I'm happy. I am so incredible thankful for this dental office.

Legends Dental could be called The Good Samaritan. I experienced my first dental emergency on Friday after business hours. Isn't that when most bad things happen? My dentist in Anchorage was able to coordinate with Legends Dental who went above and beyond to assist me saving my sanity during a time of intense pain. I've recommended this place to my husband. :) They were fast, efficient, informative and clean environment.

Dr. George is The Master! He and his staff are amazing! My son feel asleep while he worked on him and I just had a cavity filled in one of my front teeth and never felt a thing! I am grateful!

I couldn't be more pleased with this office. Dr. George and his staff are incredibly friendly and professional. The office itself is extremely clean. The dental care was just phenomenal. I fell asleep while they were filling a cavity. After the work, I couldn't even tell that my tooth had been worked on. I'd also like to add that the dental chairs have a massage feature .
