Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Amazing staff and Dr Lauren is probably the best dentist I have ever seen. I had many bad experiences with dentists in the past, but Dr Lauren and her team listened to my concerns and took the appropriate measures to ensure my comfort. I highly recommend this team for all of your dental needs.

Very professional staff and honest dentists who aren't trying to sell you unnecessary dental work like another dental group I have experience with in the area. Thorough intake process with full review of medical history and vitals check - something my former dentist office didn't bother with! Excellent office I'd recommend to others looking for a dentist in the Vistancia area.

Outstanding! The office, techs, and Dr's are polite, friendly, and professional. They have also been consistently on time and efficient which I appreciate. No long drawn out waiting times for me at least. Dr. Scruggs is awesome. Had a crown break right slightly past the warranty date and he replaced it at no cost and with no questions. Could not be happier with my experience at Legacy Smiles.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Dental Office. I've been seeing Dentists at least 2x a year since I was 20, I'm now 60, so you can imagine how many Dental Offices I've been to around Phoenix and surrounding areas. This is the very 1st Dental Office that will explain to you what your insurance pays and what your out of pocket is BEFORE ant procedure is done!!! I LOVE THAT!!!! Most other Dental Offices will give you a "guesstimate" and bill you for more charges later.... that is very annoying. The front Staff are great, The Hygienists are great & the Dentists are great. I will continue to come to this office

Not sure how anyone rates this place as good. All they want is money. Made appt for cleaning and check up 2 months in advance. Go to check in online, they cancelled my cleaning with the hygienist. Said the dentist would exam and then determine the cleaning I needed. Of course it would be the deep cleaning which is not covered by insurance. 2 months of my time wasted waiting because their hygienist was so busy. My husband had same issue. He needed work done but needed deep cleaning first. They couldn't get him in for cleaning too busy but now it was ok to do work first, so all that bacteria would now go into open wound. And a $2,500 price tag above insurance. This place is all about money. They don't care about the patients.

Just had my teeth cleaned by Nicole and she did a great job understanding my teeth issues and my history and professionally continued the great care I always get at Legacy. The technology used in their office is so up to speed. Doctor Johnson also followed up wth her deep concern for my health as well! I highly recommend them to get the right care for your teeth.
