Dr. Jorgensen graduated with her B.A. in Spanish Literature and a minor in English. She continued to the Loyola University School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1989.
Dr. Jorgensen continues her education yearly, meeting and exceeding mandated continuing education requirements. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville, and the Chamber of Commerce.
When Dr. Jorgensen is not working, she enjoys traveling to the Most Magical Place on Earth, Disney World, with her husband, Dan, and their two sons, Joey and Jack. She is also involved with the Special Olympics and the special needs community.

Ever since childhood I was skeptical of all dentists. I had seen several and one in particular always had some sort of work that was NEEDED; he seemed to love drilling into my teeth and left me with damage that for years had made me insecure about my smile. When I went to Legacy Family Dentistry for the first time, I immediately felt a difference. They were so kind, referred to me by name, Dr. Jorgensen was very thorough and explained what she could do to fix my problem. I didn't actually do it until a while later because of my skepticism, but I wish I had seen her sooner. She fixed my smile and gave me back my confidence. She's also the only dentist that I have had that actually does an oral check. The staff always greet me by name, they're always willing to answer questions. When I was pregnant, they were very accommodating. They were also great and patient with our toddler with auditory sensitivity. If you want a family dentist you can trust, I highly recommend them.

This appointment was for my six month check up and cleaning. I met a few new staff members. They were very helpful, caring and extremely professional! The new office staff member and the new hygienist did an excellent job and both were very friendly. Dr. Jorgensen was her usual cheerful and professional self!

I definitely recommend coming here! They are very welcoming and make you feel at home. I have bad anxiety and their Dental Assistant has been the absolute best with helping me calm down along with walking me through the steps of what's happening.
