A welcoming, friendly atmosphere has been the hallmark of this family practice from the very beginning, when Dr. Daniel Gabriele opened the doors in 1950. Genuine care for our patients has always been in our hearts, and it shows in the generations of families who have trusted our office for years. Our practice is now home to its third generation of dentists and hygienists, who serve with compassion and honesty.
As more dental offices are becoming owned by corporations, with monthly quotas creating aggressive and sometimes unnecessary treatment plans, Legacy Family Dental stands on the original foundation of honest diagnoses and conservative treatment.
Our dental services range from teeth whitening and cleanings, to implant dentistry and cosmetics. We provide the latest in advanced dental care with modern dental technology, materials and techniques.

This place is everything that a dental practice should be. The hygienists are so kind and gentle, the desk is helpful and understanding if you have to move an appointment, and Dr. Joseph is amazing, non-judgmental, patient, and takes time to explain what's going on. As a lifelong dentophobe, I really appreciate their conservative, minimally invasive approach. I am SO happy we found this place, and recommend to anyone who asks. I'm no longer petrified when I see an appointment coming!

This dental practice was referred to me by the NextDoor app. Dr. Joseph is very kind, patient and has an excellent sense of humor. Most importantly, he does excellent work. He pays close attention to detail and wants to get it right the first time. His staff is awesome. They are friendly and patient. If you are looking for a dentist or looking to change dentists, call him first!

Dr. Joseph is hands down the best dentist that I have ever worked with. His professionalism, compassion and attention to detail is unlike any other office I have been to. He puts his patients needs as a high priority and I have always been accommodated when I needed an appointment. His treatment plans are cutting edge and conservative. He has transformed and maintained my smile for over 14 years. I truly look forward to going to the dentist, and how many people do you know that can actually say and mean that? But I do. I am very confident is his and his staffs abilities. It is a pleasure to go to Legacy Dental.

It is so difficult to find a dentist you can trust, one who uses state of the art technology along with conservative treatment plans. Dr. Joseph does exactly that. My family and I travel all the way from Long Island, NY to be treated by him. We've asked him to move back but I don't think that's happening. Connecticut, you are lucky to have such a compassionate and skilled dentist. The best dentist I've been to!
