Practicing dentistry has allowed me to combine my love for working with my hands with my heart for helping people. I enjoy building relationships with the people and families in our community. I am blessed to have been shown such amazing support from my patients, who continue to sustain and allow my practice to grow and prosper. I vow to always treat each patients treatment as if it were my own family member in the chair.
Dr. Jamie A. Grider received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2002. Following his graduation from dental school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant and served for four years in Beaufort, South Carolina and Pascagoula, Mississippi. During the first of his four years as a Lieutenant, Dr. Grider completed an Advanced General Dentistry Residency program.
Dr. Grider prides himself on providing high-quality care for his patients. He offers his patients the latest technology and techniques and considers continuing education to be of great importance. He has completed advanced training and certification in the area of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Grider was born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana. He served our country for two enlistments in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Grider is a Veteran of the Gulf War of 1990-1991, in which he served on the U.S.S. Kennedy.
He and his family relocated to Murfreesboro in 2006 and decided to call this area home. Dr. Grider and his wife, Kelley, have three young boys. Outside of the office, Dr. Grider enjoys camping, woodworking, golfing, attending sporting events and spending time on the ball fields with his boys.
He serves as a Deacon at his church and is actively involved in the community. Dr. Grider values giving back and regularly volunteers at the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Murfreesboro. He has also served countless hours abroad, meeting the dental needs of those living in extreme poverty in the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
Kelley and Dr. Grider met in Dental School. She holds a Dental Assisting Certificate and a Dental Hygiene Degree, both awarded at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Kelley keeps our practice running smoothly, ensuring that the doctors and team are able to focus on whats important: our patients comfort and smiles. She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and is proud to be part of a top-notch team.
Kelley and Dr. Grider have three sons. They keep her very busy and she spends a lot of time on the various sports fields of middle Tennessee. Kelley is also actively involved in her church and is passionate about mission work. She enjoys traveling, camping, skiing, and crafts.
Ariel has been with our team for over 10 years. After doing her internship with Dr. Grider, Ariel joined our team in 2011. She loves getting to know our patients and creating a bond with them. She feels that many have become her friends and enjoys seeing them in the community. Ariel assists the doctors with various dental procedures. She supports the doctor and patients at the same time. Ariel has also qualified for expanded functions, which allows her to place fillings and make adjustments.
Kayla enjoys seeing the look on a patients face when treatment is finished: she loves those healthy smiles! Delivering personalized care to each of her patients, Kayla helps determine the best path for improving their oral health. She assesses a persons mouth, takes X-rays and performs gingival charting. She also offers periodontal care and provides dental education. Kayla joined the Legacy Family Dental team in 2014, after starting work in dental care in 2011.
Casey has filled several roles within our team. She now helps make all things run smoothly between our office and your insurance company. She is always happy to help with any benefit related questions you may have. She also enjoys building relationships with our patients that will last for years to come.
Stephanie is the first smiling face you will see as you come in. You will find her behind our front desk, spreading joy to all who come into contact with her. She loves to make patients smile and will do her best to make sure you have a great visit. She will be happy to assist you in scheduling your hygiene visit and answering any questions you may have. Stephanie is married with 4 older children. She enjoys spending her free time doing anything in nature with her family. She also enjoys a good movie night at home.
Cassie has been living and working in Middle Tennessee since she graduated from dental hygiene school in 2005. She enjoys working with others and helping them to be able to achieve their dental needs. She strives hard to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome when they are in the dental chair. She wants her patients to feel as if they are being treated like she would want to be treated. One of her favorite parts about being a dental hygienist is having the opportunity to serve others in the community.
Cassie is married to her best friend Adam and they have two beautiful daughters, Nora and Raelyn. She loves spending time with her family whether that is on an elaborate vacation or just roasting marshmallows in the backyard. She loves the Lord Jesus and her church. She loves to travel and explore new places whenever given the chance. She loves sweets, shhh dont tell Dr. Grider, and a nice hot cup of coffee.
