I'm confident we can help you. I've helped thousands of patients, many with problems like yours and worse. We've been successful with them. Together, we came up with a solution that looked and felt great.

Raised in Salt Lake City, UT, Dr. Jonathan Campbell currently lives in Holladay. He is married to Melanie, and together they have five kids (three girls and two boys). His father was a dentist, and they practiced side by side for 13 years. His youngest sister Katie has also followed in her fathers footsteps and is a dental hygienist atLegacy Dental.

Dr. Campbell has always enjoyed working with his hands and has a strong desire to help people. He knew the health profession was right for him and, after working with his dad for a summer, he discovered dentistry was the perfect fit.

He loved seeing how his dad helped alleviate pain and improved peoples smiles. In fact, that is Dr. Campbells favorite part of his job as a Salt Lake City dentist, seeing the happy tears and smiles of a patient who thought they were beyond help.

Outside of the office, Dr. Campbell enjoys spending time with his family on vacation. At home, he is busy supporting his kids, with dance, sports, and school. Getting away with his family is the best. Our doctor also enjoys being in the outdoors, exercising, coaching soccer, and his church service.

Our doctor lived in both Utah and Nevada when he was growing up. He spent his teenage years in Weber County, where he attendedWeber State University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French.

Since becoming a Salt Lake City dentist, Dr. Hesselgesser has worked at various practices and even had his own practice from 1995 to 2018 in Pleasant View, UT. Since 2014 he has worked as an associate dentist at Legacy Dental, and we feel lucky to have him.

Dr. Stewart received his Bachelors in Biology fromBrigham Young Universityand went on to earn his DDS fromIndiana University. He has continued to develop his skills as a member of theAmerican Dental Associationand theUtah Dental Association.

The best part of his job is helping people feel good about themselves and their smiles. Dr. Brad Stewart brings his caring and understanding nature to every visit as he strives to get you out any pain.

He liked what dentistry had to offer: fulfillment, challenges, growth, and building meaningful relationships every day. So he went back to school and received his DMD fromRoseman University College of Dental Medicineand attendedNYU Langones Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.

Since then, Dr. Behlke has found many more reasons to love being a Salt Lake City dentist. He understands that you may not love visiting the dentist, but he makes it his personal responsibility to help you feel as comfortable as possible. His kind, funny, and easy-going personality is a bonus too!

To stay current on dental trends and news, he maintains active memberships in theAmerican Dental Association This text opens a new tab to the ADA websiteand theAcademy of General Dentistry This text opens a new tab to the AGD website.

I grew up in Taylorsville, Utah. I am a wife and also a mother to four beautiful daughters. I love getting to know people and hearing about their lives. Everyone is amazing and has a story of their own. I like to listen and find out each of our patients stories.

I graduated from Dental Hygiene School atSLCCin 1999 and started atLegacy Dentalshortly after. I have worked as a hygienist since starting at the practice but took on the role of Practice Manager a couple of years ago. I still am lucky enough to see patients once a week but have had the opportunity to learn many new things while working for a practice that makes me feel incredibly proud.

I always knew I would enter the healthcare field. I grew up loving my visits to the dentist. Dental hygiene seemed a profession that would provide the ability to make a difference for patients, as well as a good work/life balance.

I have two equally favorite aspects of my job: my patients and my co-workers. They provide me with a great deal of happiness. I love catching up with patients, learning about them and their families, as well as developing lifelong friendships with co-workers.

If I am not at work, I am usually at a baseball game watching one of my two boys play. Baseball has overtaken every vacation, weekend, spring, summer, and fall evening as well as all our extra money, and I would not have it any other way. I try to soak up all these moments that seem to fly by too quickly.

Your Hero: My parents. They are so kind, compassionate, and loving. They have provided me with the most wonderful example of a strong marriage, great parenting, loyalty, and hard work; among so many other admirable attributes.

I am originally from Twin Falls, Idaho. I moved to Utah after graduating from college. I earned my Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University. My husband Josh and I enjoy living in Salt Lake City.

I chose to be a dental hygienist when I was just 12 years old. I was assigned to do a report on a professional job for school. I chose to interview a dental hygienist because I always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child and loved my dental team.

I was intrigued by their office, the tools they used, and the work that they did. It all seemed very exciting. After my report, I felt dentistry calling, and my mind was made up. I love the detailed work and the act of starting and completing a task.

My husband and I enjoy spending time together at the movies, trying new restaurants, and going to the theater. We also love traveling, going to concerts of our favorite bands, and, of course, watching Netflix.

Legacy Dentalis my home away from home. Its where I grew up. I take pride in doing a good job and living our practices mission statement: Together with kindness, knowledge, and skill we achieve excellent dental care.

I grew up being surrounded by dentistry. My father was a dentist, Dr. Galen Campbell, and he showed his passion and love for the dental field daily. I knew I wanted to do something in medicine the health sciences were always my favorite subject. Dentistry felt like a place where I could serve patients, use my love for the health sciences, and share the devotion my father had in the field.

Growing up I always thought I wanted to be a Vet due to my love, some may call it an obsession, for animals. After one day of shadowing in a veterinary clinic I knew immediately I did not want to work on sick animals. What I did know, was I still wanted to work in medicine and care for people. I started exploring other options.

I always had a wonderful experience at the dentist and looked forward to going. I knew this wasnt the reality for most people. I decided I wanted to help increase their satisfaction of their dental experience. I wanted to assist patients to grow comfortable with the dentist while making them feel great about their smile as well as improving their health through oral hygiene.

I engage in great conversations multiple times a day with each patient that comes to the office to get their teeth cleaned. I meet people I otherwise never would meet and hear interesting stories. I learn from a patients; how to travel, where to buy the best donuts, what books to read. Im constantly acquiring knowledge from my patients and look forward to their visits every 6 months.

The most comfortable local anesthetic ever! The Wandhas replaced the traditional syringe with a computerized solution. It gently delivers the anesthetic, making the experience imperceptible to most patients.

CariScreenis an innovative device that tests for your risk of caries. It samples the bacteria in your mouth and identifies the likelihood of cavities forming. The test takes one minute and is painless.

We enjoy replacing teeth with dental implants in ourdentist office in Salt Lake Cityand consider them an excellent treatment for restoring your smile. A dental implant is a predictable way toreplace missing teethwithout damaging other teeth.

It involves placing a titanium screw that is carefully inserted into the jawbone. It is then used to support a single permanent restoration, or adenture, or an entire mouth of new beautiful permanent teeth. Dental implants can look very natural and function like your real teeth.

Dental implants are made from the same materials as most hip and knee replacements. Titanium is among the most biocompatible materials that exist. There are some risks associated with dental implants, but in the hands of an experienced dentist, those risks are minimal. Thedentists at Legacy Dentalhave placed and restored hundreds of dental implants and taken many hours of continuing education in implant dentistry.

This visit is all about planning the specifics of your care. Well take a 3D x-ray and digital scan of your teeth. This will allow us to evaluate the exact amount of bone available and plan the exact position of the dental implant.

The dental implant is then allowed to heal for a few months. After that, final impressions are made, and the permanent teeth ordenturesare fabricated and attached to the dental implants. The whole implant process from start to finish usually takes three to six months.

When contemplating dental implants inSalt Lake City, it is essential to find the right dentist for you. A competent dentist will identify if you are a candidate for implant dentistry and whether it is the ideal option for you.

It shouldnt. We will discusssedation dentistryto make sure that the procedure is entirely comfortable. In any case, we will use an anesthetic, and all you should feel is gentle vibration and pressure. Most patients report not needing to take any pain medication after the procedure and that the level of discomfort is not much different than other minor dental procedures. Once the dental implant has healed, it should feel like any other healthy tooth.

Dental implants do not get cavities and seem to be less susceptible to gum disease. Therefore, dental implants should last longer than any other dental treatment your dentist may provide. In less than 5% of cases, the initial implant placed does not heal properly and requires replacement. Once the bone has healed around the implant, they are very durable. Eventually, the teeth attached to the implant will need replacing, but one should expect at least five years of service from the attached teeth.

This can be a little tricky as dental implants can be used in so many different ways. Also, sometimes additional procedures are needed to place and restore the dental implant properly. There are manypayment optionsavailable tomake dental implants fit your budget. Well give you a quote before starting any procedures.

Recently visited Legacy Dental with a dental emergency. The team got me in same day and the staff was both courteous and professional. The doctor quickly assessed the issue and took me through my options in detail. The staff then helped arrange a follow up meeting with a partner clinic to treat my issue before I left. Thank you so much Legacy team, a very memorable and positive experience.

If you are one of those individuals who are apprehensive about dental procedures like me, this is the best place for you because Dr. Behlke is an incredible Dentist. He replaced several of my old fillings with precision care and my teeth look beautiful. Another plus I really liked is how the office is professional and easy to find.

I went in for Wisdom tooth pain. They had a last minute cancel and I got in there, same day! Which I was extremely thankful for cuz of the intense pain I was experiencing. I was in and out of there, WITH them being able to do the extraction, and X-ray in less than an hour! They were awesome! And! It was a fraction of the cost of what other offices were charging for the procedure. Especially cuz I don't have insurance. Amazing staff, excellent dentist! 100/100 for me.

Went to this place for them to take out my molar and they removed the wrong one, I didn't realize this until after because of the anesthetic. I told them this and not only did they not resolve anything but I still had to pay for the removal of the wrong tooth. I seriously would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had a root canal performed, and it was practically painless; I just needed to let them know, and they gave me more anesthesia. The temporary crown held up very well until the permanent crown could be installed. I am very happy with my treatment!

I love Legacy! They are everything you need and more. I've needed emergency dental work on a few occasions and they have always gotten me in same day, within the hour most of the time. Every single staff including dentists have been sweet and positive, and have always made me feel comfortable. I avoided going to the dentist most of my life, I just wish I would have known about them sooner.
