Dr. Jack Wechsler served his country in the Army as a dentist during the Second World War. His son Dr. Barry Wechsler, founded Legacy Dental Group, formerly Simi Dental Center, over 40 years ago! Following his father and grandfathers footsteps, Dr. Mitch Wechsler has now taken over the practice. The Wechsler's have been serving patients in the the Simi Valley area and surrounding communities since 1978.
The Wechslers and their dedicated team of oral health professionals have a long history of good bedside manner, strong technical skills, and a long-standing tradition of treating patients like family. With multiple generations of Wechsler dentists practicing under one roof, dentistry is always a family matter.

I was very pleased with Legacy Dental Group. Dr. Mitch Wechsler is exceptionally caring, kind and knowledgeable. He made me feel very comfortable and was very caring in making certain that I felt no pain during all procedures. He explained procedures thoroughly and made sure I understood. His staff is also exceptional, they are kind and very efficient. Thank you for making my dental experience so very easy and comfortable - not one that used to be very traumatic for me. I hope to continue taking better care of my teeth with Legacy Dental Group.

Very, very, rarely do I write reviews, HOWEVER, in this case I am compelled to do so, and couldn't ever imagine that I would do one for a dentist! Doctor, staff, office, work and service were excellent. Could I have rated them more than 5-stars, I would, they deserve it.

Amazing repeat experience with this group. I traveled 1 1/2 hrs to be able to have Dr Mitch and team help with my needs. I trust them and hope you take advantage of the tremendous service they provide...

Although Dr. Weschler always gives his best medical advise, he is never pushy with his services. He takes his patient's overall health into consideration and attempts to work within their financial constraints.

This team is so great and Dr. Mitch is just the best! He makes you feel comfortable throughout your entire visit and explains everything he's doing throughout your procedure. My previous dentist took advantage of me and made me go through unnecessary procedures that I'm now having to fix/deal with, so I'm so glad to have found Dr. Mitch! I trust him so much and can't recommend him enough!!

I am terrified of needles but at Legacy Dental I can relax. I am still afraid but I feel cared for and safe. I know he and the staff are doing everything to make my experience the best it can be. He's always checking to make sure I am ok throughout the whole process. He makes sure everything is done right the first time, no shortcuts. Everyone there is amazing!!!!! Thank you ssoo much!!!

By far the best dentist in Simi Valley, in my opinion. This visit I did have to wait a bit once I arrived. But I know he was with another client. Just give me the TV remote, next time :)

Dr. Wechsler is the finest dentist I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few. He gives the best shot that you barely even feel and has a wonderful personality. It's just a pleasure to be in his chair I can't even believe I'm saying this and his staff also 5 Star.

Everyone in the office is friendly. Dr. Mitch is great! He has great bed side manners. He takes the time to talk to you and explain what needs to be done. During my procedure he always asked if I was ok and not in any discomfort. Another great asset of Dr. Mitch is that he doesn't try to upsell procedures you do not need. He is honest and professional!

I had an emergency with tooth pain over the weekend , I called Monday morning ( even though I knew they would be booked ) and they fit me in to resolve the problem . It ended up to be a root canal so Dr. Mitch and the staff set me up right away . Great Work Legacy you learned from the BEST.

A great dental experience! Hadn't been to a dentist in about 3 years and ending up with Dr. Mitch was awesome. He explained everything that was happening, was extremely transparent (a breath of fresh air from past dental experiences) and showed and explained his thoughts and findings to me via video. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone here.
