With more than a decade of experience, Dr. Punaji provides expert care in all aspects of dentistry, ranging from simple restorative procedures like fillings and crowns to more complex treatments like root canal therapy, periodontal therapy, and implant placement.
After receiving her degree from Bangalore University in India, Dr. Punaji went on to pursue advanced training in general dentistry at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, followed by additional advanced training in endodontics at the International Endodontic Institute.
During her senior residency at Carolinas Healthcare in Charlotte, North Carolina, Dr. Punaji had the opportunity to care for patients with complex dental needs. There, she gained extensive experience helping patients going through head and neck cancer treatments along with other challenging cases.

My favorite dentist office ever!!!! I've been going here for 3 years. The staff is so pleasant, helpful, attentive and accommodating. I love all of the services provided & care packet. I recommend Legacy Dental to everyone, especially family & friends.... I want everyone to experience this level of care & patience. I'm happy when I visit & even happier when I leave.

I love Legacy Dental Care and highly recommend to anyone who are looking for a new dental provider. The staff are always pleasant and the office is extremely clean and spacious. One thing I appreciate that they still require patients to wear mask.I have been going to Dr. Punaji for several years and not looking to leave anytime soon! Additionally, she has a great bed side manner and makes you feel at ease when going to get dental work. Give them a call as you won't regret it!

I have had nothing but positive experiences while visiting Legacy Dental Care. During my first visit, Dr. Punaji found and filled several cavities that had obviously been developing for some time and which had either gone undetected or deemed not urgent by my previous dentist. My most recent visit was uneventful, which is always good when visiting the dentist.

This group of fabulous women are so attentive, caring, and they most definitely understand their patients (their needs) in order to provide care for their patients. My anxiety was on 5M due to the sensitivity that I have associated with my teeth and gums....let me tell you, they immediately put me at ease and were ever so gentle and attentive. Oddly enough, my old Dentist retired some years ago, and I happened to pick Legacy as my new Dental Provider; turns out, they picked up my retired dentist patients. Dr. Punaji is a perfectionist and provides top notch dental care. She is so gentle. I had to have several fillings and crowns completed and she did an excellent job. This was my is it to a dentist in 12 years. The staff was very helpful with finding the office I had pulled into the wrong parking lot. They were very prompt and checking me in and started my procedures promptly. The kindness of the staff is there greatest asset. I felt completely at home and relaxed. Everything went smoothly and my experience was a great one. From check in to check out I was treated like one of their own. Thank you so much for making my dental experience an awesome one.

I was recently referred to Dr Punaji at Legacy Dental Care. I am thoroughly impressed with Dr Punaji. Her care is exceptional. She is a perfectionist when it comes to her work, which is a big plus in dental care. She and her staff are friendly, professional, and accommodating.
