Dr. Kevin Kwan was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California. He received his high school diploma from Huntington Beach High School. Immediately after graduating he attended the University of California, Irvine where he received his bachelors degree in economics and minor in biology. His passion for helping others ultimately led him to obtain his DDS degree from the USC School of Dentistry. Not only did he make the Deans honor list every year, he was selected to be a teachers assistant for underclassmen in several different courses.
Dr. Danny Kwan attended the USC School of Dentistry and graduated with a DDS degree in 1979. Throughout the years, Dr. Kwan has provided comprehensive dental care to the residents of Huntington Beach and the surrounding area since 1980. His philosophy is deeply embedded in a very conservative approach to dentistry and uses treatment options that preserve his patients natural dentition. He emphasizes the importance of patient education and takes the time to explain to patients why certain treatments may be necessary.
Komi Kwan was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she earned her bachelors degree in Psychology. Komi always had a passion to become a health professional and to serve others. A few years after graduating from UCLA, she attended the University of Southern California where she studied dental hygiene.

This is the BEST dental office I have ever been to. I have porous teeth so despite taking great care, I always need work done on my teeth. So I know good dentistry and very poor dentistry, but Dr. Kevin performs GREAT dentistry. The whole staff are lovely and kind. Komi and Lisa always welcome and check on me with such genuine care. And since the first time we've me the OG Dr. Kwan always comes in to check on me, when I I'm in which is so heartwarming for me. Dr. Kevin is detailed, gentle and transparent with every step. This includes what my plan for progress is, what he's working in the moment, and pricing. As I said, I needed ALOT of work done to my teeth and even the endodontist they outsourced me to offered amazing service and did wonderful work. Their equipment is updated and the office itself is very clean and comforting, good vibes. I happily drive from LA all the way down to OC to receive care because they make every mile and gallon of gas worth the drive. I'll probably come here for as long as they practice.

Dr. Kwan is the first dentist I've ever had who cleaned my teeth himself. On my first visit he did the cleaning because it helps him get to know his patients better. He is professional and knowledgeable with a gentle touch. He uses modern methods and technology. I feel confident about his advice and recommendations because he is taking care of me, not trying to sell me a bunch of dental procedures I don't really need.

I love going there because the appts. are personalized and you never have to wait. They are totally transparent about everything and are experts about any insurance policy. Great care and great customer service

Moved from NYC last year and had a dentist I really loved. I was hesitant that I would find one I liked as much. So happy I found Dr. Kevin Kwan! The office is so calming and I never get nervous going. Highly recommend. Great dentist and staff!

I had my first visit with Dr. Kwan today at Legacy Dental and I am so impressed! From the initial call, I was treated with kindness and respect. The office was very clean and very COVD conscious. Front desk staff, dental assistant and Dr. Kwan were unbelievable. I have found my new dental home. Thank you all!

I cracked a tooth in the middle of the covid lockdown and the pain prevented me from sleeping. I was referred to Dr. Kevin Kwan from a friend and I left a message about my emergency at 9:30 pm on a Saturday night asking for an emergency appointment. The doctor called me back in thirty minutes and we setup an appointment. He and his staff were very professional and friendly. I even got a call back the day after the procedure to see how I was doing. I trust and recommend his services. I'm very happy with the help I've received.

Truly amazing dentist who takes his time to sit down and explain everything in detail. I like the magic ultrasonic wand that they use, without the harsh scraping. Thorough, adept and caring, with a super nice staff. Highly recommended!

We have been coming here for decades and now our children too. They are very informative and extremely friendly. They make my family feel like part of their family and they take very good care of us. The facility is very clean and modern with high tech modern equipment. This is the place to be if you're looking for quality dental care from a family-oriented business. My wife has been coming here since she was a little girl and she is not little anymore. I've been coming here since I started dating my then-girlfriend who is my wife now 25 years ago. We have two wonderful princesses and the Kwan family takes very good care of them too.

Dr. Kevin and Komi Kwan are hands down the best dentists I've ever had. Super intelligent and well-versed, incredibly friendly and hospitable, as well as just genuinely thoughtful people. I hope to keep Legacy Dental Care as my main office for as long as I'm in California. Give them a visit if you haven't already and see for yourself!

Unfortunately the dental office I usually go to got burned down, but I was able to find Dr. Kevin Kwan's office through my insurance provider. I needed a cleaning and routine check up and was able to conveniently book an appointment within the week over the phone. My appointment today couldn't have been better! After I was warmly welcomed by Karina at the front desk and finished filling out my new patient forms, I was immediately taken to the back and greeted by Dr. Kwan and his kind dental assistant Millie. Dr. Kwan gave me a little background of the family-owned practice and I was super impressed by his professionalism and friendly demeanor. I have a bit of a problem grinding my teeth at night and Dr. Kwan was able to find the perfect solution for me with a mouth guard! Shortly after my cleaning I was able to squeeze in an impression and head out in no time. I had such a pleasant experience today at Legacy Dental Care. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody in search of a new dentist!
