I grew up in a neighborhood environment where my father and grandfather owned a local business, and everybody knew everybody. In many ways, it was one big family. If a person had a problem, friends and neighbors were there to help, even before they were asked.

He was awarded a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Minnesota Dental School, Minneapolis, MN. He received his B.S. degree in Biomechanical Engineering in 1973 from the Institute of Technology, University of Minnesota. He was a Clinical Instructor at the University of Minnesota Dental School from 1979 1981.
Dr. Rizk graduated from the University of Minnesota school of Dentistry. Dr. Rizk is committed to provide her patients with the highest quality of care and thus is committed to continued dental education. She has a particular passion for orthodontic treatment and airway treatment for young children. Dr. Rizk also enjoys cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, pediatric, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Kyle Novotny received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Novotny moved back to Minnesota after living in Florida for 11 years and completing his undergraduate degree at University of South Florida with honors in Biomedical Science. Dr. Novotny is committed to providing excellent, comfortable care to his patients as he addresses their dental needs and goals. When he is not in the office, Dr. Novotny enjoys being active outdoors with golf and snowboarding.

Graduate of Century Community College Dental Assisting Program in White Bear, Ashley loves helping patients achieve their treatment goals: I enjoy seeing the change in my patients from the beginning of their treatment to the end.'
With 23 years of experience, Teresa is an expert chair-side assistant to Dr. Parvey. A graduate of Hennepin Technical College in Dental Assisting, Teresa especially enjoys meeting all of the interesting people and helping them with their dental goals. Her patients appreciate how she helps make them feel so relaxed and comfortable during procedures.
Natalie has eight years of experience in the dental profession and has a degree in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University in Mankato. Her patients often praise her for giving them a pain-free, teeth-cleaning experience. Natalie loves her work and emphasizes, I enjoy the relationships I develop with my patients and their families.
Melissa graduated with her BS degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Dental Hygiene program in 2008. She has been with the Legacy Dental Care team since 2017. Melissa loves getting to know her patients and their families and has a special interest in working with patients who have anxiety coming into the dentist. I recognize that being in the dental chair can be a vulnerable feeling and I strive to meet everyone where they are at, help them to feel as comfortable as possible, without judgement. When shes not working Melissa is busy with her husband and two kids and loves being outdoors, hiking, biking, and staying active.
Heather has been in dentistry for over 20 years, having originally received a degree in Dental Assisting from Rochester Community College in 2000. Her passion for dentistry and caring for patients inspired her to continue her education in Dental hygiene, graduating from Century College in 2006. Heather loves her career as a dental hygienist and loves getting to know her patients. Her kindness, compassion and understanding puts patients at ease, treating her patients with the best dental care possible. Her patients complement her on her gentle yet thorough cleanings. When not with patients, Heather loves spending time with her family, going to her two sons sporting events. She is an avid hockey mom! She also enjoys the outdoors, walking, boating, golfing, and baking.

I cannot express to you how impressed I was with my experience at Legacy Dental Care. I felt a little embarrassed calling about getting a second opinion for just a little ole' cavity, but I had never had one in my whole life (43+ years) and it just wasn't making sense to me. My teenagers had never had cavities either, and when all three of us randomly all had cavities at our somewhat new-to-us dental place, I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything fishy going on. A friend highly recommended Legacy Dental Care, so I called them. They didn't make me feel self-conscious or silly about getting it checked out. My request was very respectfully and kindly handled, and I was able to get seen the same morning I called in. Upon entering their business, I was greeted with much warmth and friendliness. Once we got to the exam room, I could not believe how much solid information I was given with the various diagnostic tools. I had never seen pictures of my teeth like that. Also, I was very intrigued hearing stats about each tooth and what it's "number" was with the tool they used and hoping it was not close to 30--the dreaded cavity zone! I love random health stats, and I found it all very interesting. When the results came back that I did indeed have a cavity, one could be tempted to say, "Oh man! I just wasted my time for nothing." However, it gave me peace of mind and made me feel 100% better about me and my children having someone drill into our heads in the coming weeks. ;) And it also gave me a much more realistic sense of where my teeth are at. The people at Legacy Dental Care were kind and gracious and personable from beginning to end. I felt really good about my visit. I would HIGHLY recommend Legacy Dental Care. They care about their patients. They are highly professional and give top notch care. And they offer all their services at VERY affordable prices. They are just fantastic all-around. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Dr. Novotny is the best Dentist I've ever gone to, and the only dentist I trust. He knows what he's doing and is very good/competent at his job and clearly very knowledgeable in the field of dentistry and oral hygiene.

My husband and I have seen the team here several times, for fillings, cleanings and teeth extractions. They have always been very friendly and professional and made us feel very comfortable. When we needed to come back in for check-ups after procedures, they were able to have us in the same day we called and always made sure we were well taken care of.

The Dentist's and staff are extremely friendly ,knowledgeable. I am in the dental field and appreciate this office beyond the few words I could speak here. I went in today for a crown. Not having much dental work besides cleaning in the past I Was very nervous. They were very understanding and comforting. It was pain free and actually a wonderful experience. I will be having two more crowns placed in the near future!

I've been a client of Legacy for 13 years. I'm the picky and demanding type and hold the people I do business with to high standards. Dr. Parvey holds himself to the highest of standards. I have the utmost trust in him and the entire staff. They are simply top notch, period!

At lunch yesterday, I bit into a crostini, which resulted in a tooth from my denture breaking off. Thankfully, I didnt swallow it! I immediately went to my dentist of thirty years, Dr Dennis Parvey of Legacy Dental. I was warmly greeted, as usual and assured that someone would help me. Sure enough, less than one hour later, I walked out with my denture fully restored. Very much recommend Legacy Dental.

I broke a veneer at lunch on a Friday (bad timing) and found Legacy online as a cosmetic dentist near me. I called to see if they could get me in for a temporary repair so I wasn't walking around with half a front tooth all weekend. They assured me they could get me an appointment that afternoon and do a temp repair. Everyone there was so nice. The dental assistant got everything out to do a repair, then Dr Parvey came in. He did an examination and said "I'm really not inclined to do anything here. If I do a repair it will just create more work for your regular dentist because he will have to remove it to get started on anything" Ummmm yes that is what a temporary repair is correct? There was no conversation, he asked me no uestions. Even his assistant was shocked, she tried to come to my defense because I was speechless that he was unwilling to do a repair even though that was what my appointment was for. It was not a good experience, I would definitely not recommend Dr Parvey.
