Dr. Mauricio Garcia has over 20 years of experience providing dental care for patients of all ages. In 1992 he graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from El Bosque University, one of the most prestigious dental schools in Bogot, Colombia. He then worked for the Colombian Air Force and as Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry.
In 1998, he obtained his Masters Degree in Endodontics at the Pontifical Xaverian University in Bogot, Colombia and moved to the United States to earn a DDS from NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Western Massachusetts.
In 2010 he became an affiliate of the Holyoke Health Center in Holyoke, Massachusetts where he practiced general dentistry. Finally, in 2012 he moved to Northern Virginia to take over Leesburg Family Dentistry.

This is absolutely the BEST dentist I have ever been to. I didn't go to the dentist for 10 years, and now I have been to three appointments in a row because they make it so pleasant. There is no floss-guilting, no made up treatments. Just good technology and really nice really qualified people.

I have been going to Dr. Garcia for the last year and a half, and was pleased with the checkups, but wanted to wait for something major for a review. Just had a crown put on today, and he and his staff were unbelievably gentle, professional and thorough. I would recommend Leesburg Family Dentistry to anyone.

Dr Garcia and his staff offer the best dental services you could ever expect to find. He is a very skilled and compassionate dentist and can do whatever you need including implants at reasonable prices. A very friendly and helpful young lady named Emma will probably greet you when you go and she is wonderful. I always feel welcome when I go to this office..
