Dr. Kime Whitman, originally from Great Falls, Virginia, graduated from Langley High School with Honors at age 15. Shes been on a roll ever since! Dr. Whitman received a BS in Biology with Honors from George Mason University at age 19 and went on to attend VCU School of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. At age 23, Dr. Whitman became the youngest dentist in the history of the state of Virginia to date. Shes been in private practice for the last 10 years.
In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Whitman has a range of hobbies. She enjoys spending time with her family and her pet rabbit, Gus Gus, reading, and playing the piano, which has been a passion of hers for the last 25 years. Having trained competitively as a figure skater, Dr. Whitman is also a CrossFit enthusiast. Shes a longtime Washington Capitals fan, attending most home games every season, and she often brags that she met Joe Beninati and had dinner with him and his Stanley Cup ring recently!
She regularly partners with Mission of Mercy, an organization thats been providing free healthcare and dental care to clients who are uninsured and underinsured for the past 25 years. As part of giving back to and supporting the community, Dr. Whitman also travels to rural areas with her alma mater, VCU, to provide dental care to people who otherwise couldnt afford it. Dr. Kime uses such modern technology as digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, Invisalign, in-office whitening, and dental implants. Our practice also uses new endodontic (root canal) technology with WaveOne GOLD, which uses a cordless handpiece thats very quiet and a mini iPad as the motor indicator. The whole root canal procedure is able to be done painlessly and efficiently using this system, which offers less intimidating machinery and less instrumentation.
Thats why we offer our Patient Membership Plan, which is our in-house dental plan that includes preventative care and a discount off our other services for patients without dental insurance through a provider.
I had the most wonderful experience with Leesburg Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Whitman is an extremely capable and pleasant dentist. I did not have dental insurance and needed a lot of dental work done. I found the in office program extremely helpful. It included my dental cleanings for the year, and all of my x-rays plus a discount on my treatment I truly believe I saved more money by going through the in office program than by having dental insurance and would highly recommend it!

Like so many other reviewers, I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr. Whitman and her staff. Dr. Whitman really takes the time to get to know you and goes above and beyond for her patients. They managed to squeeze me into their busy schedule when I mentioned my upcoming wedding and took extra time making sure I would be photo ready. Dr. Whiteman clearly knows her stuff and I know my dental health is in great hands. On top of that, the office is immaculate and welcoming, and they play great background music! I would highly recommend Leesburg Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for anyone looking for an amazing family dental office.

I loathe going to the dentist because of previous horrible experiences, however that was not the case with this office. Dr. Whitman was amazing with how she handled the procedure as well as explaining what was being done and what further preventive care I should take to ensure my teeth are going no where. I had very little discomforts with my cleaning, this is mostly due to my sensitive gums, imagine the Princess and the Pea but for the mouth. Dr. Whitman's assistant Tim was also fantastic as well! He was gentle and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with his procedures. Getting a person with the social range of a twig comfortable is an impressive feat! Mallory the front desk was also welcoming and handled the paperwork efficiently, I was in and out of there with no issues at all. For that I am thankful for the team at Leesburg Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Will definitely be going back!

Dr. Whitman is as nice as she can be. I get horrible anxiety regarding the dentist, and even though I had to take several breaks during my appointment to catch my breath, she didn't bat an eye. Most patient, kind, amazing dentist out there. Wonderful dentist's office.

I wish I could give this dentistry a infinite amount of stars. Dr. Whitman and her whole entire staff made me feel at home. I hadn't been to the Dentist in 20+ years and I was suffering from horrible teeth pain. I was recommended to Dr. Whitman from a coworker of mine who raved about her experience and boy was she correct. I was feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed going in being that I knew my teeth were not in great shape. I thought I was going to be shamed and scolded for not taking better care of my teeth but I was wrong as soon as I entered the building. The receptionist was very kind and helpful and gave a detailed bill of what my insurance covers and what my out of pocket cost would be. Dr. Whitmans staff did a great job of informing that there's no shame for coming in and there here to help which they did tremendous job at. Also Dr. Whitman had a very calming voice to where you just know that your in the right hands and everything is going to be just fine. Long story short my experience at Leesburg Family & Cosmetics Dentistry was an exceptional one and I highly recommend this place to anyone. A BIG Thank You to Dr. Whitman and her whole staff!

Dr. Whitman is an awesome dentist - she did a very thorough exam followed up by an awesome cleaning. She took the time to answer all of my questions and offered some tips for teeth care that worked with my lifestyle. The office was also very clean and the staff was very efficient and helpful.

Amazing dentist and staff! So caring, gentle, patient, thorough, informative, great attention to detail and treats me like I'm very important to them! The office environment is also very soothing, impeccably decorated and clean, classy. Plays my favorite style of music - Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, etc. Highly recommend!

I seriously can't say enough positive things about this practice. Dr Whitman is LITERALLY the nicest person i've ever met. Her and her team are so kind, caring, attentive. I had a horrible bonding experience on my two front teeth and honestly hated smiling. I found her somehow through google, and omg, she did miracles on my teeth. Like i could NOT be happier with the outcome. My wedding is this year and i'm so proud to show off my smile. Trust her with anything, she's amazing.

The best cleaning ever! No discomfort at all. Learned some new things about caring for my teeth (who knew? I'm 67. Now). The office is serene, peaceful and pleasant, like a spa experience for your teeth!

I literally just walked out from getting tooth extracted and I feel great. The procedure was so fast and pain free. Dr. Whittman and the staff are so sweet. They make you feel so comfortable. They also go into detail when explaining the different options available for you.I cannot wait to go to Dr. Whittman for all of my future dentist appointments.

Leesburg family & cosmetic dentistry is immaculate. I'm not sure that I've been to a cleaner office in my life. Dr. Whitman is polite, courteous, attentive, sincere, empathetic, compassionate, the list goes on. She has an uncanny ability to ease what is normally a high anxiety appointment and dare I say make it fun. Thanks for helping me get a movie star smile!
