Dr. Steven S. Lee is a specialist in all aspects of restorative procedures. His focus as a dentist is to restore teeth and oral health and restores his patients hope. He is the Long Island Full Mouth Rehabilitation to Cosmetic Dentistry dentist and attending dentist affiliated with Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital.
As a trained prosthodontist, Dr. Lee is proficient in all aspects of restorative procedures utilizing natural restorations, such as crowns, bridges, veneers, implant supported prosthesis and removable dentures.

As a certified implantologist, Dr. Lee is trained for surgical and prosthetic dental implantology such as implant placement, sinus grafting, guided bone regeneration, soft tissue grafting, implant supported abutments and crowns, screw and cement retained prosthesis; and aftercare.
Practicing since 2002, Dr. Lee earned his 4-year doctorate degree in dental surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) followed by the completion of a 3-year Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics. Recognized by the American Dental Association as one of the most respected programs worldwide, NYUCDs Prosthodontic Program afforded Dr. Lee intensive training along side researchers and nationally recognized clinicians. He has completed successfully an implant surgery fellowship at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in the New York Presbyterian/ Columbia University.
Prior to pursuing dentistry, Dr. Steven S. Lee distinguished himself as a freelance artist and landscape architect having received a BA/BS degree from Pennsylvania State University. A former clinical and pre-clinical faculty member at theNYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Lee is currently a member of theAmerican Dental Association,New York State Dental Association,Nassau County Dental Society,American College of Prosthodontics, and Occlusal Concepts Study Group of New York.
Dr. Mayer graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Buffalo in 1997. He continued with his education and completed the accredited Advanced Specialty Education Program in Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School.
Published in the Journal of Periodontology for his dental implant research, Dr. Mayer has also been involved in other research regarding the microbiological basis for oral diseases. He keeps abreast of the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease including the link between periodontitis and systematic diseases.
Dr. Mayer practices the full scope of periodontics and implant dentistry. He is an expert in periodontal plastic surgery such as grafts for gum recession and root exposure. Dr. Mayer has a gentle touch and a very calming manner. Patient comfort is his top priority.

There's evidence that they use the "X-ray" technique unnecessarily to increase their fee. I guess most practices do. I noticed a freak billing incident where my prior visit with a partial X-ray cost me more than the visit with a full mouth X-ray. I asked for an adjustment, but they talked their way out of it. Great work is one thing but treating a patient fairly and more honestly counts more. I do believe Dr. Lee is a good dentist, otherwise.

I had another very, very good experience with Dr. Mayer, Dr. Lee, Maggie and Andi. I had a tooth pulled and some bone work and felt nothing! Even today, the day after, absolutely no pain. I truly appreciate the extraordinary bedside manners of everyone at Leeman Dental.

My first visit over the weekend was great! Dr. Lee was kind and made sure the cleaning was painless. He was happy to answered all my questions and was very informative. I'm happy to have found a new dentist that I'll be returning to! Also the staffs were friendly, the office was very clean and organized. It was a comfortable environment.

I highly recommend Dr Lee--and consider myself extremely lucky to have found him to be my new dentist! I was very worried about losing a tooth that required a fiber post and crown (after a NYC endodontist attempted a root canal that was unsuccessful), and panicking because I couldn't find anyone I trusted to do the work. I'm an extremely nervous patient who had my previous dentist for decades, but she retired during the pandemic. I took a chance with Dr. Lee, and am so thankful I did! He's remarkably calm and patient, and immediately put me at ease (not easy to do). He explains everything, and has terrific technical knowledge and skills. Also very professional. I really do trust him. I'm extremely happy with my new crown, and also with the tooth cleaning and whitening procedures I had done at his office. Everyone in the office is similarly easy going and professional, and fees are reasonable.

Dr Lee and his remarkable staff of health-care professionals, are simply the Gold-Standard of dental science. Dr Lee demonstrates a vast range of phenomenal decorum that speaks of his genuine care and commitment to his patients. Not only were his deft treatment and solutions to my dental difficulties managed and corrected with phenomenal dispatch, he fully explains his strategy. LOOOOOVE THIS DENTIST. let's start with office staff. I've been to amazing doctors and stopped going because they have nasty office staff. The STAFF HERE ARE AMAZING. FRONT desk girl is sweet as pie. His assistant is wonderful and nice and caring Dr. Lee is so good I haven't been to a dentist in years but I will be going all the time. He's thorough and not pushy and just puts you at ease. Excellent excellent doctor. Did I mention the office itsself is so clean! I need their cleaning lady
