Dr. Lee C. Wright received his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN in May of 1983. He enrolled in the College of Dentistry at University of Tennessee Center for Allied Health Sciences in Memphis, TN in August of 1983. After completing the four-year program, he graduated in May of 1987. Knowing he wanted to stay in Tennessee, Dr. Wright was given the opportunity to begin an associateship in Franklin, TN at the satellite office of Dr. Shackelford and Dr. Dotson. Upon building his patient base over the course of 10 years, Dr. Wright purchased the practice from them in January of 1998. He also purchased the building and was therefore able to maintain the practice at its current location.
Dr. Wright is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society and Pinnacle Study Club. He is involved with various civic organizations including Boy Scouts of America and is a Sunday School leader at First United Methodist Church in Franklin. Dr. Wright and his wife Cheryl have been married since 1983 and reside in Franklin. They have two children, Eric and Elaine.
Courtney is a 2007 graduate of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology earning her certification and license with the Dental Assisting National Board. She began her career with Dr. Wrights practice in September, 2007. She has completed extended education courses in CRP, Dental Radiology, Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Coronal Polishing and Sealant Application. Courtney was the chairside assistant for the practice 8 years before transitioning to Office Manager. She is a member of the Dental Assisting National Board as well as the American Dental Assistant Association. She lives in Chapel Hill with her husband Chris. Their hobbies include fostering dogs, camping and spending time at the lake.
Kelly attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN graduating in 2000 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She began her career with Dr. Wright in March of 2002. She also works in Nashville, TN. She is a 1996 graduate of Franklin High School and is a native of Franklin. She is married to Ben and they have twin girls, Peyton Bailey and Avery Mackenzie who were born in 2011.Kelly enjoys helping out with her girl's softball team.
Ashlynn graduated from Tennessee Professional Training Institute as a Registered Dental Assistant in July, 2020. Immediately following her graduation, she joined Dr. Wrights staff as his full-time chairside assistant. She is fully certified in CPR, Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Dental Radiology and Coronal Polishing.
Ashlynn is tri-lingual and enjoys going abroad, particularly to Japan. She spends time with her host sister, Shuri, with whom she lived with while in high school. She currently lives in Murfreesboro with her roommate Kai and their rescued, four-legged friend, Ruby.
Shelly completed her education as a Registered Dental Hygenistin 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee State University. After several years working for Dr. Wright as a fill-in dental hygienist, she moved to part-time for the practice in 2021. A Nashville native, Shelly now resides in Spring Hill with her husband and teenage daughter. She enjoys the arts, music and whitewater rafting.
