Dentistry is such a personally fulfilling profession. Working with my patients and teaching someone how to improve their health is a rewarding experience. The daily opportunity I have to help my patients maintain healthy smiles while also developing long lasting relationships with them and their families are the things I cherish most about my work. I feel truly blessed to have been providing the very best dental care to my patients for the past 35years. Ive been given the chance to improve their oral health and smiles, transforming their lives and self-esteem in the process.
Having taken over the practice started by my father, Dr. Donald Lederman, in 1961, I still see patients that started with him 50 years ago. We now have four generations of some families in our dental practice! I think that alone says a lot about the relationships that we have established. I am honored to be entrusted with their care.
My continuing education has kept me current with the most innovative restorative treatments, materials, and treatment planning. I have focused much of my continuing education on newer technologies now offered in dentistry, like Invisalign and CEREC single-visit restorations. I have taken extensive restorative dentistry seminars with Frank Spear at the Scottsdale Center, focusing on advanced treatment planning, interdisciplinary treatment, and more. Also, as an affiliate instructor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Department of Oral Medicine, I am able to use my experience as a dentist to teach new generations of dentists how to be truly exceptional.
Born in Oceanside, Californiaat Camp Pendleton, I was raised in Bellevue and have lived in Sammamish for the past 25 years. When Im not in the office, I like to keep busy with gardening, skiing, cooking, and traveling.
I am honored to be a third-generation Dr. Lederman in this practice. It is wonderful to meet new patients, as well as patients who have been coming here for their care since my grandfather, Dr. Don Lederman, started his practice in Bellevue.
I believe in whole-person healthcare and the importance of supporting patients in their journey toward beautiful and healthy smiles, as well as healthy lives. I love the work of dentistry itself, but the personal connections are at the heart of what keep my career a joy to me every day.
I believe in lifelong learning and professional advancement. The technologies used in dentistry are ever changing, and I want to be able to offer the most advanced and appropriate treatment to my patients. My involvement in dental organizations and study groups ensures that I am exposed to relevant, clinically proven treatment and techniques to incorporate into the practice.
I returned to my hometown of Sammamish after spending four years in Gilbert, Arizona for dental school. I am a voracious reader and always looking to give and receive book recommendations. I love to work with my hands and enjoy needlepoint and painting. Being outside brings me so much happiness, so I love to garden, water and snow ski, and play with my pets.
The past 34 years as a dentist have been very rewarding for me, especially now that I get to work with both of my daughters. I really enjoy meeting new people and easing them through their dental experiences. We have many third- and fourth-generation patients in our practice, and it warms my heart to blend their families with ours.
Just like Dr. Paul Lederman, I too am a graduate of the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1987. I practiced for ten years in both Seattle and Issaquah before starting my family. When my two daughters were young, I took some time off to be a full-time mom. Over the years, I have occasionally filled in for Dr. Lederman, but now that my kids are grown and both working here at Lederman & Lederman, DDS, Ive joined the practice full time.
When Im not in the office, my personal interests include enjoying time with my family and traveling with them, gardening, indoor plants, needlepoint, and caring for our family pets, which includes two West Highland terriers and two Nigerian dwarf goats.

I initially worked at the front desk at Lederman & Lederman, DDS, worked my way up to a dental assistant, and eventually went off to Shoreline Community College to obtain my license as a Registered Dental Hygienist. It is rewarding to build long-lasting relationships with patients and making a difference in so many lives. I feel so fortunate to be able to work with an amazing team of people. Our office honestly feels like one big family. We know each other really well and I love all the laughs we are able to share throughout the day.
My career in dentistry began almost 25 years ago, and I was pleased to join Dr. Lederman and his team in 2006. I enjoy the relaxed, family atmosphere of our office. Its a pleasure coming here every morning and knowing that our work makes a direct impact on our patients lives. My years here have led me to believe that Dr. Lederman is an honest, hard-working dentist, one that I am proud to say I work for. I respect his work ethic and the lengths he goes to in order to make his patients and employees happy.
I started my career as a part-time dental assistant before I graduated from Shoreline CCs dental hygiene program. While I consider myself a thorough dental hygienist, I never forget the importance of being friendly, fun, and gentle. As a family-run practice, we always put family first. Im very grateful and proud of what my grandfather and father built!
I can be found working by Dr. Lederman's side to help our patients achieve a beautiful smile and make sure they are as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. I enjoy assisting Dr. Lederman in all restorative procedures from a simple filling to veneers and implant crowns. Seeing the excitement on our patients faces when their treatment is complete never fails to put a smile on mine!
I am a 2016 graduate of the Dental Assisting Training Center. Before joining Lederman & Lederman, DDS in 2020, I gained experience in orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and general dentistry, which allows me to assist our doctors in a variety of procedures. It is my privilege to work alongside doctors with the highest integrity. We all work together very well as a team and have fun while doing it.
Poppy is a permanent installation in Lederman & Lederman, DDS. She has been our acting mascot since puppyhood. Poppy spends the majority of her day sleeping under the front desk, but if youre lucky, you may see her venturing out on her occasional search for treats.
