Dr. Stecher is a native of Dubuque, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2008 and completed a year of additional training in pediatric dentistry in Hartford, Connecticut. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Scott County Dental Society. He enjoys Spartan racing, football, home renovation and adores his two young daughters.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mike's for many years, and have had extensive work done on my teeth by him. My most recent work completed by Dr. Mike was to remove my old veneers, prep my teeth for porcelain crowns, and place those crowns. This was no small feat, due to the fact my teeth had been stained horribly as a child from tetracycline. He worked alongside with the lab to get the coverage and color of white I wanted. They are beautiful! This is the first time I can smile with confidence! He is so thorough and detail oriented, a perfectionist that you definitely want for your teeth and mouth, and he always puts his patients needs and comforts first. He has a top notch set of professionals that are a group of wonderful and cheerful team players!

Dr Stecher and his r.d.a rheanna worked like a well oiled machine for a procedure outside of my regular cleanings with the lovely Melissa. All staff from the greeting and in between are pleasant and knowledgeable.

We just switched our whole family over and we love everything about this office. The assistants, front desk gals, and the doc are all top notch. We have felt welcome from the very first visit. Everytime I go in, they're asking about my other kids. Always remembering their names and truly interested. The best office around!

Everyone at LeClaire Family Dentistry is so nice and kind! I was made to feel less anxious and stressed by the procedures ahead by every single staff member. They took the time to answer all of my questions and really know their stuff! Dr. Stecher understood my anxiety and went slowly, and he and his staff checked consistently with me to make sure I was comfortable. This is a great team and you can tell by the level of professionalism and positivity that it's a nice place to be. My smile looks better already just by being there!

When I learned that he attained a higher level of credentials than the average dentist, it just served to confirm that I'll be a patient for a very long time! Besides, beginning with my first visit, he educates about normal changes and needs as we age .... I want that from every health care provider, don't we all?!
