Orthodontist Dr. Eric Leber was born and raised here in Tucson, Arizona and graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School. He attended Northern Arizona University for his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado in 2001. Dr. Eric received specialty training in orthodontics at Saint Louis University and returned to Tucson in 2003 to practice orthodontics with his father. Eric and his wife, Aumi, have four boys (Denton, Dawson, Donovan and Dutch). Dr Eric enjoys family trips and playing basketball and golf.

I remember in high school assisting in my father's practice and loving it. My father always enjoyed going to work and kept the office environment positive and uplifting. I vividly remember the reaction of one of my dad's patients when she got her braces off. She was so completely overwhelmed with the transformation of her smile that she literally cried with happiness. At that moment, I was hooked! I realized orthodontics was the career for me.

Wow, that is a great question! My dad has been my mentor both in my professional and personal life. He always taught me to treat patients like family and to work diligently in achieving that special smile. I greatly respect his comprehensive knowledge of orthodontics and 30 years of experience in straightening teeth. I am so lucky to be able to begin my orthodontic career with my dad at my side.

In 2012, Dr. Eric and his father, Dr. Larry Leber, started an orthodontic program at St. Elizabeth 's dental clinic called 'Smiles Ahead'. The doctors volunteer their time each month to provide orthodontic treatment to the financially deprived youth in the Tucson community.

The program provides orthodontic services to children and families with financial hardships, ages 10-16 with severely misaligned teeth. We support dental needs of the uninsured and underserved with respect and dignity, without regard to race, religion, national origin, and physical or mental challenge.

After dental school Dr. Lindsay practiced general dentistry for 4 years before attending Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA where she received her Masters of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Lindsay has 10 dentists in her family!

Dr. Lindsay is married to Stephen and they have 2 rescue American Bullies who Dr. Lindsay trained to be therapy dogs. In her free time Dr. Lindsay enjoys traveling, exercising and spending time with her family.

Easy question...It's FUN! I have the best time seeing patients on a regular basis and watching their smiles transform. Hi! My name is Mary Jane (MJ) Turner and I joined the Leber Orthodontics staff in 1992. I have three wonderful children, Annie, Sarah and Matthew. My daughter Annie is married to Jesse and they have a son, Bryce and a daughter, Violet. My daughter Sarah (who also is a Leber staff member) is married to Travis and they have two sons, William and George. My son, Matthew is married to Maggie and they have a son, Patrick. It is so much fun being a grandma!!! My spare time is spent either spending time with my family or outdoors. I enjoy hiking the beautiful southern Arizona hiking trails, gardening or playing tennis. Hi, my name is Yesenia. Ive lived in Arizona my whole life. Moved to Tucson in the early 90s from Casa Grande. I have three daughters, Yasmine, Tatiyana, Giuliana and one child on the way. This is a great time to wear braces! Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can choose brackets that are clear or metallic color. You can choose the color of the ties that hold the wire on the brackets. Wires are also less noticeable than they used to be and the latest materials move teeth faster with less discomfort to patients.

The overall process of placing the brackets on the teeth is painless. After the archwire is installed to the brackets there may be some mild soreness or discomfort. This may last for a few days or up to a week.
