Dr. Nathan Leavitt grew up in Lewiston and enjoys the privilege of returning and serving his hometown community. Dr. Leavitt earned his doctorate degree at Creighton University, and he continues to pursue advanced education in many areas of dentistry.
Dr. Leavitt and his wife, Ashley, met in high school on the tennis team and have been married for 7 years. They have two children. Dr. Leavitt enjoys being back in the valley and returning to his love of camping, fishing, and hunting. He still enjoys playing tennis along with golf and racquetball. He and Ashley look forward to introducing their children to the valley that they grew up in.
Shortly after graduating from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Dr. Erin Leavitt moved to the Lewis-Clark valley to work for Dr. L. Glen Carlson. He purchased the practice when Dr. Carlson retired and has enjoyed living and working in Lewiston for nearly 30 years.
With the help of the wonderful schools and opportunities the LC valley has to offer, Dr. Leavitt and his wife Mary raised five children and now enjoy the chaos and love of 15 grandchildren. In his free time, Erin enjoys the diverse adventure and nature that Idaho has to offer.
Dr. Leavitt enjoys dentistry for the opportunity it provides to get to know people from all across the community. He feels it his privilege to serve each person who comes into his office. His compassion and skill are apparent in his work, and he looks forward to many more decades of active service in the community.

My entire family has seen Dr. Leavitt for years! We all trust him and have no complaints about him. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Highly recommend him!!

Took my 3 year old daughter in to get her teeth cleaned, everyone was great! Especially the dental hygienist, she took the time to explain everything she was doing to her, was very kind and patient. Thank you!

Awesome friendly staff. Want to say thank you to Amanda. Everytime I've been in there super friendly and pleasant. Dr. Nathan is also super friendly, spends the time with you to fully explain everything. Would recommend this dentist office100%.

Dr. Nathan did a great job on my teeth! It was fun getting my teeth fixed because he was willing to explain anything that I asked about, including how all the equipment worked and exactly what was going on in my mouth. All the staff made me feel comfortable. There was no weird feeling of formal professionalism (very capable and accurate in their work, but too much professionalism doesn't help me relax ) or that they were just there getting their job done. I took my kids in as well and they loved it! They got to push buttons and learn about some of the gadgets. Dr. Nathan let the kids in his office to choose a rock from a pile of rocks that he has polished. Dr. Nathan makes you feel that you are the most important person, even when you step out of the chair he is still there making sure you have all your questions answered. He doesn't make you feel like you were taking up his time.

Best denist in the valley. Will always be around and call him personally if you have any issues at all. He wants to use the newest technology available too.

I had to have an emergency root canal done. they where nice enough to get me in same day as a new patient and did a fantastic job. I had doctor short who unfortunately moved but i have complete confidence the rest of the staff is as good.

Our family has always been impressed with Erin Leavitt and we are so glad that his son is now partnered with him. At times he has waited for a payment until we could afford it. A true Christian in his dealings with the public as well as care and compassion for his patients (even when he had to literally knock out my son so that he could work on his teeth). He never lets fear be a problem and is truly good with children!
