In 2005, he became a certified Bioesthetic Dentist through the OBI Foundation. His passion and expertise lie within full mouth comprehensive cosmetic cases, one of which was published in, The Function of Teeth by Lundeen and Gibbs.
In his spare time, Dr. Learman enjoys spending time with his family boating on the Saginaw Bay and is an avid outdoorsman during all seasons. He loves to hunt, fish, and is always perfecting his golf game.
graduated from Midwestern University in Chicago where she earned recognition for excellence in patient care. She completed her undergraduate degree from Albion College in 2010 and her post-graduate degree from Wayne State University in 2012.
In addition to her love for crown, bridge, and implant dentistry, Dr. Sydney also focuses on expanding her knowledge in pediatric dentistry. Early in her career, she was able to work alongside a pediatric dentist fostering her love for her young patients.
She is also a volunteer and spokesperson for the American Heart Association for nearly ten years and is continuously learning about the role dentists can play in sleep disorders that ultimately affect a patients cardiovascular health.
She has been an advocate for community leadership since her early years and currently sits on the Great Lakes Bay Board of Directors as the Teen Director. She has had the privilege of mentoring five young women throughout the state of Michigan, in which she focuses on leadership skills, public service, self-confidence, and earning scholarship money.
Chelsey received her Associates Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Delta College. She loves interacting with patients and helping them with their smile. In her spare time, Chelsey enjoys baking and cooking as well as spending time with her nieces and nephew.
Kim graduated from Delta Colleges Dental Assisting Program. She has been assisting for 36 years and has been with Learman Dental for 18 of those years. In Kims spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her family, especially her grand kids.
Kim has been a Dental Assistant for 31 years. She works at both Learman Dental locations and completed her CDA in North Carolina and her RDA in Delta Colleges Dental Assisting Program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and is an avid hunter.
Katie has been in the Dental field for 14 years. She earned her Associates Degree in Business in 2004 from SVSU and Northwood University. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and shopping.
Sue graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Delta College in 1981. She has been a hygienist for 38 years, 28 of those with Lear man Dental. In her free time she enjoys biking, walking, and kayaking with her husband Jim.
Jamie received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Delta College in 2004. She loves making smiles brighter. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, shopping, and traveling when ever possible.
Kathryn recently earned her Dental Assisting license through Delta Colleges Dental Assisting Program and is new to the Learman Dental team. In her spare time she enjoys being with friends and family and watching Netflix.
Alyssa received her Associates Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Delta College. Her favorite part of hygiene is meeting and building relationships with patients. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys scrolling through Pinterest for home projects and hanging out with her family, especially her daughter.

Referred a friend here who had poor experiences with a chain dental place locally. They were able to address dental cost anxiety and put together an affordable plan to immediately address current pain. My own experiences here have been good, but helping my friend overcome a potentially devastating health bill at the other place and providing gentle care greatly improved their health and mental health outcomes. Thank you Learman for taking the extra step for their care.

As a foster parent, my newest child needed a dental exam right away. My worker told me this is where said child has gone before but not to expect to get in for a few months because so many other dental offices are booking our for 3+ months. I called and was able to be seen within 72 hours! We arrive and the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. The waiting room was like stepping into a comfy home with a beautiful fireplace, comfortable sofas and a little play nook to keep children entertained while you wait. Our appointment came and we were called back promptly. The hygienist was very patient with my child and explained everything that was going to happen as well as answered my questions. The dentist came in and did the exam and we were done in under 10 minutes. The hygienist let my little one choose a toy from the treasure chest, we scheduled our next appointment and were on our way. The entire visit was under 20 minutes, that never seems to happen at any other dentist office I have been to. Wonderful experience all around.

Outstanding service by the Learman Dental Team. Sue Kusmierz - a long time hygienist cleaned my teeth to perfection. Dr. Michael Learman is a great dentist and perfectionist when it comes to his work. The office appearance and outdoor waterfall/ flowers - reveal that this team gets it- when it comes to setting the bar high for customer service. All patient chairs view the outdoor waterfall and beautiful flowers - putting patients at ease. You will not be disappointed with selecting Learman Dental for your dental healthcare needs.

I was impressed with the office and staff. Stacy, Dr. Sydney's assistant, was one of the first persons that I met and spent some time with. Dr. Sydney popped in to introduce herself. I was thoroughly impressed by her personalization to me. After xrays with Stacy, I was introduced to Melissa, who conducted by teeth cleaning. Dr. Sydney returned and we discussed my dental health care. I was completely satisfied with my appointment. And will be recommending this practice to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

I am from Tawas and had an emergency tooth issue while working in Bay City. I called Dr Learman's office and they got me in the very next day. The office is beautiful, the staff is sincere and friendly and Dr Learman was wonderful. I had 3 fillings replaced and he was gentle and explained the procedure in a way I could understand. I am now a customer for life. What a great experience. I would highly recommend this Dr. to anyone!

As always the entire staff was friendly, courteous and efficient. Very professional office as a whole. Latest technology and always explain what, if anything, is needed and offers options. I would highly recommend Dr. Learman and his entire staff.

Always very friendly and helpful staff. They do whatever they can to accommodate the patient's needs. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend anyone looking for a good dental experience to make an appointment and decide for yourself.
