Dr. Emily Cheek received a bachelors degree in Biology from Hendrix College, her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and then completed her pediatric dental residency at Bon Secours Pediatric Dental Associates in Richmond, Virginia. She has also received special accolades through the Imhotep Society and The Richard Doggett and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society.
When she was young, Dr. Cheek had a traumatic dental injury where she lost a permanent tooth, however, her pediatric dentist was able to save her tooth as well as her smile. She was so grateful and, from that moment, she knew she wanted to provide the same quality of care for others.
When Dr. Cheek is not saving smiles, she is enjoying family life in the city of Little Rock with her husband, James, their two beautiful children, James and Julia, and their two dogs, Honey and Winston. Dr. Cheek enjoys trying new foods, exploring the outdoors, spending time at Lake Ouachita and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Plaqusters are a super small species of bacteria that live mainly in the mouths of unsuspecting cool people. They are NOT clean and make a big mess everywhere. They LEAP from tooth to tooth, hang out on the gums, under the tongue and although they dont mean to do harm, they just cant help themselves. The longer they stick around in your mouth, the more damage they can do to your teeth. The best thing to do is blast them with fluoride and brush them away to a safe place where they can continue the party.

The best dental clinic we have ever been to. The entire staff, especially Cassie, and the dentist, Dr. Daniel,went above and beyond to make sure that my granddaughter was comfortable. We will continue to drive almost 3 hours to see Dr. Daniel and staff!

Everyone is very friendly and makes sure that you are well informed about your childs dental exam the dentists are very nice and do awesome work everyone goes above and beyond to make sure the children are informed and comfortable for an easy visit very well organized and the office has an awesome flow of getting things done I don't have to worry about people dragging their feet on doing their job they are right on que with an awesome flow and I love their personalities and their awesomeness with the kids my kids was asking when can we come back which says everything to me I sure wish they worked on adults I would for sure be their patient one word sums up this office staff AWESOME I want to thank the staff for being wonderful and awesome so going to the dentist is a trip the kids want to make I just can't say enough wonderful things about the staff THANK YALL FOR ALL OF YALL'S WONDERFULNESS

Leap Kids has been absolutely wonderful! My son suffered some pretty bad experiences At previous dentists and Leap Kids made him feel safe. He wasn't scared, and they were all extremely polite, kind, and genuinely care. We will not go anywhere else.

My child is autistic with medical problems and this office was so incredibly kind and patient and SO understanding. I'm so glad to have found a dentist office that he is comfortable in.

I absolutely love this dentist!!! After being let down multiple times by another dentist I called them for help with my son. They got him in right away and listened to all my concerns and answered everything I asked! Very quick to get him in and taken care of! Definitely prefer them to anyone else

Everyone here is so genuine and professional! Our little one had to be put to sleep for a dental procedure today. Dr. Daniel and staff made sure she was comfortable AND distracted. They also made sure we knew step by step what would be happening and asked us multiple times if we had questions or concerns. We've always been extremely pleased with them, but today was nothing short of an amazing experience. Our daughter is bouncing off the walls with no pain at all.
