Dr. Emily Cheek received a bachelors degree in Biology from Hendrix College, her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and then completed her pediatric dental residency at Bon Secours Pediatric Dental Associates in Richmond, Virginia. She has also received special accolades through the Imhotep Society and The Richard Doggett and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society.
When she was young, Dr. Cheek had a traumatic dental injury where she lost a permanent tooth, however, her pediatric dentist was able to save her tooth as well as her smile. She was so grateful and, from that moment, she knew she wanted to provide the same quality of care for others.
When Dr. Cheek is not saving smiles, she is enjoying family life in the city of Little Rock with her husband, James, their two beautiful children, James and Julia, and their two dogs, Honey and Winston. Dr. Cheek enjoys trying new foods, exploring the outdoors, spending time at Lake Ouachita and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Plaqusters are a super small species of bacteria that live mainly in the mouths of unsuspecting cool people. They are NOT clean and make a big mess everywhere. They LEAP from tooth to tooth, hang out on the gums, under the tongue and although they dont mean to do harm, they just cant help themselves. The longer they stick around in your mouth, the more damage they can do to your teeth. The best thing to do is blast them with fluoride and brush them away to a safe place where they can continue the party.

My daughter liked Cabot Leap Kids & now that we have moved to Bryant she loves both Cabot & Bryant locations. The staff are great about calling me to remind me of upcoming appointments.

This place doesn't respect the wishes of the parents. It used to, but now with the new dentist apparently it's a no when requesting that my child have a filling rather than a cap. So now I have to inconveniently take her somewhere else to get this simple procedure done. In addition to this, I took my other 2 in for a cleaning and they gave one of them a fluoride treatment after I specifically noted in her chart and verbally told them no fluoride.

This dental office by far is the greatest. They don't judge you and they know how hard it is to get your children to do right by their brushing and flossing daily routines. They are so good I don't even have to go in. I trust the entire staff and yes I used others, but hands down for children they are the best. I'll always go here and if you have had a bad experience like I did please give Leap a chance. You will not be disappointed! Staff are awesome!

My nephew didn't check in at the desk. I thought he knew to do that. Anyway it was late when they noticed him at the back, but Tiffany was nice and stayed late to see him. I owe her a special Thank you!!! Great service and wonderful people here.Thanks again T iffany.

They are amazing with kids..and there is not a long waite.My daughter is 5 and she refuses to let the dentist touch her..Not here they was so good with her,she is already ready to go back.I have been threw dentist after dentist...I'm glad iv finally found one me and my kids like..I highly recommend them.They are pretty awesome!!

Great place! Kid's love their dentist visit today. They even had welcome goodie bags for them. All the staff was extremely attentive and so caring. Cleanliness was immaculate. We will definitely be returning! 1000% recommend!
