Dr. Lance Schamberger Dr. Lance Schamberger graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1994, where he completed both his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Schamberger has been practicing in Leadville, Colorado, since 2003. He moved here for the quality of life that can only be enjoyed in a small mountain town. As a dentist, Dr. Schamberger makes it his mission to provide exceptional, comfortable, understandable and accessible dental care. He participates in continuing education courses regularly to improve his skills and enhance the quality of service he gives to his patients. In fact, it is common for Dr. Schamberger to complete 3-4 times the number of CE course required by the state of Colorado. Dr. Schamberger spent the first half of his career learning to help patients with advanced, difficult problems, restoring their mouths to full function and giving his patients beautiful, natural smiles. He has pursued advanced training in all phases of implant dentistry, including the completion of three separate year-long training programs. He has studied under some of the top implant dentists in the United States. Additionally, Dr. Schamberger earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and he is on the faculty at the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mark D. Gregston, DDS, PC Being an orthodontist is one of the greatest joys of my life. Having the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of so many people is extremely humbling. Every one of my patients has different needs but always the same goal: a beautiful, healthy and functional smile that they feel proud to share with the world. It is a pleasure to start the orthodontic journey with them and be by their side through the treatment process. I cant describe the joy I share with the patient and their parents the day I take off their braces and they see their amazing new smile. I truly have the best job in the world.

It is incredible to be allowed to watch a patients personality blossom as they see their smile change. Its incredibly sad when a patient wont smile during their first visit. Once they start to see the transformation and begin to smile with more confidence, I see their personality change. Its a wonderful feeling.

In order to provide my patients with the best care possible, I actively seek out continuing education opportunities. It is essential for oral health professional to be continually learning about our ever-changing field. Doing so will provide an understanding of how to implement new treatments and utilize emerging technologies. Our patients deserve nothing less.

Personal Life I grew up in Independence, Missouri, and I now call Parker my home. My lovely wife, Sandi, and I have three gorgeous daughters. When Im not caring for my patients, Im usually with my family; they are my focus and my joy. However, I also enjoy watching movies and sports, golfing, and playing softball and volleyball. I am personally committed to being the best husband and father possible.

I love living in Colorado. Every day on my drive to work, I get to see the beautiful sunrise come over the mountains. I am constantly amazed at the beauty of this state. When I was stationed at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, I knew this was where I wanted to raise my family.

Commitment to the Community I feel that it is essential for everyone to give back to the community by donating time and helping others improve their lives. Professionally, I donate time and dental expertise to Smile Again, Smiles Change Lives, and Dental Lifeline Network. Our practice sponsors local baseball teams, Boy Scouts, and elementary schools. My family is also active with the Denver Dumb Friends League, a local animal rescue shelter, and we foster animals through the organization.

Marc D. Thomas, DDS Marc D. Thomas is a native of Idaho who began his education by earning a degree in zoology with a minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University. He then went on to study dentistry at UCLA in Los Angeles, California, where he graduated magna cum laude. After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Thomas worked in Texas for 2 years and then relocated to New Haven, Connecticut, to complete a pediatric dental residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Yale School of Medicine, where he received specialized training in dentistry for children and adolescents. He has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Colorado since 2012.

Dr. Thomas has authored and co-authored a number of professional dental publications. He has been the recipient of numerous scholarships, recognition and awards, including becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Thomas is also being recognized by his peers as one of the top dentists in Colorado by 5280 Magazine.

Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. His involvement in these organizations allows him to stay in touch with current dentistry techniques and technology so that he may better meet the needs of his patients. Dr. Thomas has also volunteered with the Colorado Mission of Mercy, performing free dental work for underserved dental patients.

Dr. Thomas understands that dental treatment can cause anxiety for children and their parents. His goal is to provide patients with compassionate dental treatment by effectively communication with children and their parents about dental treatment. By performing gentle treatment in a positive environment, your child will look forward to returning to the dental office. Dr. Thomas is dedicated to pairing empathetic dental treatment with advanced technology to provide excellent pediatric dental care.

Dr. Thomas is happily married, and he and his beautiful wife have four young daughters. In his spare time, Dr. Thomas loves spending time with his family, hiking, reading, running marathons, sculpting and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
