Our recently completed, state-of-the-art clinic is outfitted with the most advanced equipment and technology to ensure each visit is pleasant and comfortable. However, we dont allow technology to interfere with our relationship with our patients. Our staff is here to educate each patient to ensure that their oral healthcare needs are clearly defined and understood. Our primary goal is to help you maintain your healthy smile for life in a calm, comfortable setting. Patients are more than charts and names they become friends. You are greeted with a smile and leave with one of your own.

Dr. Rhea earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1988. From 1988 to 1990 she remained at UMKC School of Dentistry, where she was an assistant clinical instructor in the Department of Periodontology. In 1990, she took an Associateship in Sioux City and has been practicing in Northwest Iowa since.

In 2015, Dr. Rhea completed a mini-residency for adult sleep apnea and craniofacial pain to offer non-invasive, painless oral appliance therapy for the treatment of sleep apnea. She is currently completing training in myofunctional appliance therapy for child sleep apnea.

Dr. Rhea is a member of the American Dental Academy, Iowa Dental Academy, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the 3M Council for Innovative Dentistry.

Dr. Rheas family keeps her busy. She joins her husband, John, at school and sporting events for their two children, Kenny and Sophia. The family enjoys traveling together and, during football season, can be found cheering on their favorite team, the Green Bay Packers.

Tammy is committed to a healthy lifestyle and finds time to bike, run, and lift weights every day. She is committed to her community, donating her time, creativity and endless energy to many local causes and organizations, including the LeMars Main Street Project, Good Samaritan Spring Fling, Friends of St. Marys Ball, Advisory Board for the Good Samaritan Center. Tammy is a lay director and serves on the finance and restoration committees for St. Marys Church in Remsen.

Tanya Gaswint holds an Associate of Arts degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of South Dakota and has worked for Dr. Rhea-Bohnenkamp since 1998. Tanya enjoys the relationships she has formed with her patients throughout the years.

Tanyas attention to detail ensures excellent care in the hygiene chair. She believes continuing education is key to outstanding patient care. Keeping up with new technology and the latest research helps Tanya ensure we are treating the whole patient, not just their teeth.

Amanda Beitelspacher graduated in 2002 from the University of South Dakota with an Associate of Science degree. Upon graduation, she immediately joined Dr. Bjorge and transitioned to the LeMars Dental Center team in 2008 when Dr. Rhea-Bohnenkamp purchased the practice.

Amanda enjoys spending time with Troy, her husband, and their three children, Alaina, Carter, and Hailey. Amanda believes one of the most important aspects of her career is helping others improve and maintain their oral health.

When not seeing patients at the LeMars Dental Center, Denae, enjoys spending free time with her wonderful husband, Jerrod, and their son Jessi. You will also find her spending time in her garden, going camping as a family, and taking their dog, Ace, for walks.

Kathy Johnson is an original member of the LeMars Dental Center team; she joined Dr. Rhea-Bohnenkamp when she opened her first practice in 1991. Kathy graduated from Western Iowa Tech and is a Registered Dental Assistant. Recently, Kathy received her expanded functions certification, which allows her to assist Dr. Rhea in a greater capacity.

The senior member, Kathy is a great resource for all other members of the LeMars Dental Center team. She holds a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to share when needed with not only her coworkers but also the patients who shes been seeing for years.

Tori Meyer graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College in 2013 and is a Registered Dental Assistant with an expanded functions certificate. She enjoys working with our patients and making their experience with the doctors and staff at the LeMars Dental Center a positive one.
