I received my B.A. from Emory University, my D.M.D with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, and my M.S.D. in Orthodontics from Indiana University. In 2018 I became board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).
As the field of orthodontics continues to evolve, its important to stay current on the latest techniques, tools, and technology. Some of the continuing education courses Ive focused on is invisalign, soft tissue lasers, and temporary anchorage devices (TADs). This allows me to provide the patients at Lazin Family Orthodontics with the best treatment tailored to their needs and lifestyle.
I grew up in sunny Sarasota Florida and moved to Indianapolis in 2014 to complete my residency. Ive been happily married to my wife Allison, a lifelong hoosier, since 2010. We have two beautiful girls, Olivia and Emery. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors with the family, playing tennis, cooking, gardening, and cheering on the Butler bulldogs.
I assist Dr. Lazin in the clinic working with patients doing bondings, adjustments, installing appliances--just about everything. Dr. Lazin is very laid back and fun to work with. He loves to joke around, and we always have a lot of fun here! I love getting to know each patient that comes into the office and seeing their smiles transform.
My husband Steve and I have two sons, Bobby and Cole, three grandsons (Kyran, Deacon and Kolbie) and a granddaughter named Bailey and a miniature dachshund named Zoie. When I'm not in the office I enjoy walking, being with animals, and music. (You might just hear me singing as I work!)
Having worked chairside with patients to help them achieve their beautiful smiles and seeing the end results when we've made our patients happy and satisfied with their smiles, it was exciting to become the Treatment Coordinator: After taking pictures and X-rays, and listening to Dr. Lazin's diagnosis and treatment plan, I address our patients' questions and concerns in a caring manner as well as discussing fees and payment plans. Getting teeth straightened can change how a person feels about themselves and how others will see them, so I take my job very seriously. My two children are grown but live near by so I see them often. I enjoy traveling and the Colts.
I have worked in the dental field for 5 years. I have a passion for the art of orthodontics and an eye for detail. With a heavy dental background myself; I love to be able to relate to my patients and make them feel comfortable going into their dental visits that may make them feel nervous or uneasy and helping reduce some of that stress. My favorite part of my job is seeing my patients after treatment with a confidence theyve never worn before. It is rewarding and life changing to wear a smile you want to show off, and I get to be a part of it. Dr. Lazin is a very skilled orthodontist and great to work and learn with.
I was given this wonderful opportunity to work with this amazing team. I takecare of a few different things here at the office. I am the records coordinator along withbeing the lab tech. I also help up front answering phone and scheduling. I love getting toknow our patients and helping them get the smile of perfection. I love being a part of theLazin team! My husband Dustin and I have a beautiful little boy. His name is Bentley and heis our pride and joy. He loves ice cream and swimming. As a family we love goingcamping and swimming. I love playing basketball and planting flowers.
Ive been working in orthodontics for over 8 years and love the clinical, technical and challenging aspects of it. I also enjoy getting to know the patients and seeing their smiles transform. Almost everything I love starts with F: food, football, family, fall, and fur babies. The exception is Taylor Swift. I also love dad jokes and random facts no one needs to know
Has extensive accounts receivables experience working within the medical field for 40 years. She is married with 2 - daughters and 3 - grandchildren, and enjoys her time with family activities, especially holidays. She has enjoyed traveling and checking off her bucket list with trips to Alaska, British Isles, Panama Canal, Hawaii, and hot air ballooning in Arizona. Besides travel, she enjoys golf and working around the house. When spring comes around, you will see her enjoy driving her convertible in town until cold weather arrives!
I help schedule exams and adjustments for Dr. Lazin, and I also coordinate referrals with other dental offices in the area. I am originally from Los Angeles and have been in the dental field since 2016. I love spending time with my two girls Jannel (10) and Ariel (3). In our free time we ride bikes and enjoy watching movies. I am also fluent in Spanish so say hello or hola next time youre in the office!
