Steven R. Lazar, D.M.D. has been practicing dentistry in Waltham, Massachusetts, since 1974. A graduate of Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine, he learned from some of the best faculty in the world, at an institution where the administration was keenly aware of the need for dentists to become true doctors, responsible for their patients' oral health, but also conscious that this is only one aspect of the entire person.

Dr. Lazar offers contemporary, comprehensive, personal dental care. As a General Practitioner, he can provide all the services most people require to acquire and maintain an extremely high level of dental health. Of course, your comfort and freedom from the pain and fear you may have about dental treatment is one of our primary concerns. We utilize safe, time-tested methods of pain and anxiety control such as local anesthetics to make sure that the dental experience you have is safe, comfortable, and successful.

Graduated with the highest honors from Saint Anselm College and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a General Practice Residency at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Santamaria has since been practicing General Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry in the Boston and Southern NH area. She provides care for medically compromised adult patients at Franciscan Hospital for Children, where she currently maintains hospital privileges to enable treatment under general anesthesia. She is also well-versed in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants and fixed prosthodontics. Her expansive treatment of involved restorative cases over the years has allowed her to create new smiles for patients young and old.

Manchester has been Dr. Santamarias stomping ground since she was 11 years old, when she came to the US with her family from Venezuela. Having graduated from Manchesters own Memorial High School, she is delighted to be back in the area to provide exceptional Comprehensive Dental care to the greater Manchester area.

Our wonderful hygienist graduated with high honors from Concord Community College in 2014. Before becoming a hygienist Brett was a dental assistant for 8 years. Brett is Board certified in dental hygiene and local anesthesia. Her favorite aspect of dental hygiene is empowering patients to take control of their oral health. She has an upbeat and friendly personality that will make you feel at ease. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering her time, traveling and spending time with her husband.

Our delightful Front Desk coordinator, Kim, brings many years of dental office experience to our team. A graduate of Boston University, School of Dental Assisting, Kim is familiar with all aspects of General Practice. Kim was a chairside Certified Dental Assistant in many general and specialty dental practices before assuming front desk responsibilities. Her knowledge of procedures, scheduling, dental third-party payment plans, and patient advocacy are top priorities. Kim's bright smile accompanies a caring and professional attitude both at the front desk and on the telephone.

Shane has been assisting with patient administration, account and insurance management, and scheduling for many years in her Dad's dental practice. She's a Registered Dietitian, a Certified Personal Trainer, and an experienced fitness coach who has combined these careers while raising three wonderful children. Her vivacious attitude and caring personality have contributed to the comfort and convenience of our patients, who always appreciate Shane's cheerful concern.

Sally has been Dr. Lazar's chair side assistant for nearly four years. She brings a background thoroughly familiar with all aspects of dental practice and her caring and delightful demeanor are sure to help our patients have a pleasant and comfortable experience while receiving excellent care.
