Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I really like it here! I've been to several dentist and my most recent experience besides here was absolutely awful. Layton smiles isn't focused on just making a quick buck but on what will be best for their customers. They put in the extra effort every step of the way. They have state of the art equipment which makes processes that would previously make certain things take weeks be completed with fantastic results within minutes! The workers here are skilled and know what they are doing.

They're very professional the office is always friendly, their whole staff are very qualified, doctor Talbot did such a good job putting 3 crowns, they conveniently remind me of my appointments and make easy to pre register. I've been going there for more than 4 years and I've never had any complaints

I have pretty bad dental anxiety, and don't love going to the dentist. The dentist made snide comments in the hallway saying "I can see why she doesn't like coming, hahahah" to which I made a comment when he walked in. He then performed the exam and told me he was "going to lecture me" on issues I had. I'm in my late 30s. I don't need a lecture. In fact, after warning that I do have anxiety about dentists you'd think he'd have a gentler hand but that was not the case. The woman who helped me prior to was VERY NICE. I hope she finds a new job somewhere else because with a dentist like that I doubt many people go back. I went to a new dentist today and was thrilled by the night and day treatment from one to the next. That actually motivated me to write this because I really was treated poorly the first time around. >>Definitely go with your gut!

This place is horrible! I wish I could give 0 stars. I was looking for a new dentist and I saw this place takes my insurance so I called and made an appointment. When I got there I had to take X-rays because I was a new patient. Totally fine. Well they were taking an X-ray of each individual tooth plus all the sides. So I sat there for at LEAST an hour just doing X-rays. Then the hygienist comes in and reads the gum levels for the cleaning. They said they were all 6's and 7's which is periodontal disease! They wanted me to do a laser treatment every 3 months which was $400!! Also, they never did the cleaning! I just wasted a cleaning with my insurance for nothing! I went to a different dentist and I was 1's and 2's on my gum levels. This place is so sketchy!! Do not go here!!

It says their business is open right now at 8:53 AM on a Saturday. If you call it puts you in a queue as if they are helping others right now and there is NO ONE at the office. This is the 4th time my crown has fallen off. I am officially done with this place now.

My daughter had a wire pop out while traveling. Her orthodontist is 3 states away! LSD was amazing in fixing her appliance and saving our vacation! We were able to walk in and be seen immediately. The most friendly and professional dentist office I have ever been to. Thank you!

I got 4 crowns from this place and in 3ish years one already fell off due to not fitting correctly. After seeing a seperate dentist he was worried about all 4 of the crowns. As you know crowns are expensive and was under the impression they are under warranty. But guess not if you don't continuly see them. But I moved so of course changed dentist plus that's how I learned they did bad job on each crown. They didn't offer anything to help me even though I am only in this situation because of them.

I absolutely love this office. They are always so good to explain our dental care plan and they always go the extra mile in managung our dental plan benefits so that we pay as little out of pocket as possible. For those who have a bit of anxiety when having dental work, both the staff and the decor create a calming atmosphere that is very much aporeciated. The dental work itself has always been top-notch and we simply won't chance it going anywhere else.
