Dr. Chris Larrow graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in biology. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. During his time in dental school, he was active in many organizations, serving as president of the Asian-American Dental Society and acting as a clinical mentor to pre-clinical dental students. He also worked as a dental assistant at a pediatric dental office on weekends. Immediately after graduating from dental school, Dr. Chris was accepted to a two-year specialty training program in the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at the Medical University of South Carolina. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Oklahoma Association of Pediatric Dentists.
From his early years of coaching youth sports and volunteering with the Special Olympics, Dr. Chris always knew that he wanted to work with children and specialize in pediatric dentistry. He joined our practice in July of 2015. Dr. Chris is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English, and is great at putting kids at ease during their dental visits.
Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and best friend, Ashley, and their two sons. He likes to play basketball, attend local community events and festivals, tend to his garden and visit family and friends in Dallas
Dr. Nicholas Chelenza was born in Seneca Falls, New York. His father was in the U.S. Army and eventually the family was stationed in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Dr. Chelenza followed in his fathers footsteps and joined the U.S. Army, serving as a gunnery instructor from 1974-1978. After serving for four years, Dr. Chelenza enrolled at Cameron University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics degree in 1981. He went on to dental school at the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry. He graduated in 1986 and worked in a private practice for two years. It was during that time he visited Dr. Wells pediatric practice and started working part time as a general dentist. It didnt take long for Dr. Chelenza to realize his love in dentistry was pediatrics. He quickly left to go into a pediatric residency at James Whitcomb Riley Childrens Hospital, University of Indiana Medical Center. When he graduated in 1991, he returned to work at Dr. Wells office and has been there ever since.
Dr. Chelenza and his lovely wife, Janette, have four children and 10 grandchildren. In his free time, he can be found spending time with his family, working on cars, or cheering on the Energy Soccer team from the stands.

My 7 year old had an appointment with them this morning that required sedation. I didn't know this was that appointment so I gave him breakfast drove 2 HOURS to get there only to be told he won't be seen. I never got a general admission call telling me he couldn't eat after midnight. With gas prices as high as they are I was not a happy mom. And the front desk lady was burping loudly while talking with me.

Im so glad that i had the opportunity to bring my child here. I love the way all the staff treated my daughter from start to finish. The dentist that came to see her was very gental and he was in no rush. He spoke to my child in a nice way. He didn't scold me for the dental issues my daughter had (like at the other dental office that reffed me) instead he educated me. We enjoyed our visit and will ne returning.

*update* they have gone down in service. The dentist was great as always, but the rest of the staff . Receptionist were loud and gossipy. The ladies doing my kids X-rays had zero patience with my children. My son went off with one and wasn't "cooperating" only to later to find out she was being soooo rude and rough with him that he got scared. The other women doing the X-ray on my daughter was rude and snappy because she wasn't quite understanding what she wanted. This was an appointment we waited months. I had an appointment in February but called to reschedule as we all had covid. The receptionist was rude about it and after making the appointment she hung up without saying anything else. My daughter has a few small cavities so when I went to the other side of the building to reschedule and the lady was HORRIBLE. No customer service whatsoever. Sadly after 5 years of going here we will be looking for another dentist. The dentist and assistant were so sweet and patient with my three year old! He barely cried because they were so gentle. Very happy with their service. Appointment was exactly on time, and the office was so kid friendly :)

My son ended up having to have a tooth pulled last minute, which I thought works freak him out but they were awesome at keeping him calm. Afterwards my son said he felt no pain and every one was so nice to him.

I have been taking my kids here since we moved here in 2010! Very friendly staff and usually get through in a decent amount of time! Very kid friendly!

Don't trust the dentist here. He did the same to.my daughter. Had the nerve to put his hands on her to keep her calm. Do not trust a guy like that with my child. Not a good vibe at this place with the staff.

Very poor service at the front desk. Recently lost my wife and happened to be running a few minutes late due to getting three children all under six years old in and out of the vehicle. Much more courteous and professional in the back.
