Dr. Lawson is incredibly confident, knowledgeable and comforting! I enjoyed my first time in with her for an exam and specialty teeth whitening enhancement. She made me aware of concerns I never even knew I had, took her time and shared so much educational information that Ive never been addressed with before about my oral health. She took it to another level and Im so grateful for my experience with her and her awesome assistant!
Dr. Lawson and her team are friendly and kind. My teeth feel great after cleaning. In a previous visit, Dr. Lawson placed a crown on one of my molars, and noticed my bite was off, so she adjusted it. It feels so much better, and I didn 't even realize how hard I was biting on those back teeth. Could have eventually ended up in a cracked tooth. Small, but BIG, is that Dr. asked me what my 'goals' were for my teeth. I 've been going to dentists my whole life, and no one ever asked me that. Good question. I want to keep my teeth! I 'm very grateful for her holistic approach.
Dr Lawson was so kind and spent a great deal of time with me discussing the treatment options for my kids. She is very knowledgeable in natural alternatives to braces. Im excited to help my kids get a good night sleep and have a healthy mouth and body with the help of Lawson Dentistry.
Dr. Lawson and her entire team have been amazing to work with over the past 6 years. My family has received outstanding care during our time here. Dr. Lawson serves the community as a dentist, a volunteer, and a mentor. Even on her days away from the practice she donates her time to the Saint Francis of Assisi school, serving lunches and volunteering in the art room.
Dr. Lawson prides herself on her passion for life. Professionally and personally, she strives to gain knowledge to better herself for her family, friends, and patients so all can live with a better quality of life. Dr. Lawson chose dentistry as a profession because of her ability to practice Integrative Dental Medicine (think med school and dental school combined in one). She strives to make people healthier, improving function, beauty, and confidence which is why she found herself at the prestigious Dawson Academy for advanced dental care, where she received her certification in advanced dental studies.
An avid believer in complete health, Dr. Lawson practices what she preaches by putting herself back in braces. She stays healthy for her family of 6 (3 sons and 1 daughter) with an active lifestyle (loves CrossFit and running), stays mentally sharp with advanced professional certifications, and she enjoys reading non-fiction and fiction alike. Her love of life comes from her faith and being blessed as a wife and mother she enjoys her Fridays serving lunch at Saint Francis of Assisi school and volunteering in the art room. The Hawkeyes, Cubs, and Packers are a close third to faith, family, and mentoring!
Dr. Lawson would love to treat you and your family (she has been known to sing children to sleep on her lap or in the dental chair). Her patients and Lawson Family Dentistry team are a blessing to her each and every day.
The staff at Lawson Family Dentistry, LLC, led by Dr. Lawson, make up the most capable and friendly dental team I have ever encountered. After a negative dental experience, jaw issues forced me to seek the help of a dental professional, Dr. Lawson and her team showed caring and competence while helping me understand my dental needs.
Dr. Lawson even worked with my Primary Care Physician to come up with a coordinated plan of care. Dr. Lawson (and all of the Lawson Family Dentistry staff) genuinely care about every patient's whole well-being, not just their teeth! Even my four year old enjoys visiting the dentist!

So glad to have found Lawson Family Dentistry. Dr. Lawson and her staff are professional, caring, welcoming, and passionate about their craft. At my first office visit I shared with them that I have dental anxiety. At once my hygienist helped me feel at ease and a part of the process. I appreciate the all-female staff (maybe I'm sexist) as the soft yet highly capable vibes are what I need as a client. Maybe if I'd had a better experience as a kid my whole perspective would be colored differently. From a heated neck wrap, to a weighted blanket and frequent check-ins, my hygienist, Lindsay, attends to any 'emotional' needs that I feel that day. Dr. Lawson is personable, high energy, attentive, and clearly loves and excels at what she does. One very satisfied client. Thank you Lawson Family Dentistry.

When my daughter's permanent teeth began coming in, Dr. Lawson recommended we try the Healthy Start Program. It's easy to question the unknown, but after a year of the program, my daughter's teeth look amazing! It's hard to imagine the change in one year's time. Her smile looks great, teeth-grinding is gone, less throat infections. We have no regrets investing in the Healthy Start program. My daughter also has no complaints!
