Dr. Mike Lawson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota system, first with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and subsequently graduating with honors from the U of M School of Dentistry in 1998. Since then, he and his family have made a home in Central Minnesota practicing in St. Cloud and Sartell. Dr. Lawson shares two passions, one for dentistry, (his team and patients) and the other for his family (wife Kristin and son's Ian and Elijah). Dr. Lawson is dedicated to working with our patients toward the goal of optimum oral health, recognizing the benefits to their overall health while maintaining honesty and compassion in his care.
Kristin has been with Lawson Family Dental since its inception in 2001. She has been in the dental field virtually all her life growing up with a father who is a dentist. Kristin's management background includes 12 years in retail management. She lives in Sartell with husband Mike (who just happens to be our very own Dr. Mike), kitties Onyx and Olive and their dog Ruby. Mike and Kristin have two grown sons, Ian and Eli, who currently both reside in Minneapolis. What Kristin enjoys most about working at Lawson Family Dental is the aspect of building a strong team of dental professionals and the challenge of the ever-changing dental environment.
Sheila joined our team in August of 2011. She attended St. Cloud State University and received her Dental Assisting degree from St. Cloud Technical College in 2010. She currently resides in Becker with her husband Jake and their two boys, Leo and Henry. As a family of four they spend as much time with outdoor activities as they can- such as hunting, camping and snowmobiling. What Sheila enjoys most about working at Lawson Family Dental is the professionalism that our team expresses to our patients, as well as the relationships made along the way with each family of our practice.
Grace graduated in 2015 with her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene and began her career in Rochester, MN. Grace joined the Lawson Family Dental team in the summer of 2020. She now lives in Sartell with her husband, Rob, and daughter, Isla. Grace and her husband are originally from Sartell and are happy to be back home raising their family! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family at the cabin up north, baking, and enjoying the outdoors. What Grace likes most about working at Lawson Family Dental is the relationships she creates with her patients, the positive team oriented environment, and the appreciation Mike and Kristin show us every day!
Kris has been in the dental field for 30+ years and joined Lawson Family Dental in 2002. She received her degree from North Dakota State College of Science. Kris lives in Sartell with her husband Paul. They have two grown children, Paige and Parker, who both graduated from the U of M. Currently, Paige is married and living in Nashville and Parker has a girlfriend and living in Minneapolis! Kris enjoys working out and spending a lot of time with family and friends. What she enjoys most about working at Lawson Family Dental is the opportunity to work with and help people of all ages. She believes that our team relationships are unbeatable making it easy to come to work. It is her hope to be able to help our patients in achieving their goals of good oral health in care and education.
Sam has been with Lawson Family Dental since 2005 after graduating with her degree from Central Lakes College in Brainerd, Minnesota. Sam lives in Becker with her husband Luke, children Brady, Benjamin, Mackenzie and dog Sonny. Sam enjoys spending time with her family at their cabin in Northern Minnesota & experiencing many outdoor activities. Sam appreciates a good laugh - She keeps her team members on their toes with her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and out going personality. What Sam enjoys most about working at Lawson Family Dental is helping the families of our practice with their dental needs. She is excited to be a part of such an amazing and advanced practice. She feels our office provides optimum dental care and she is very proud to be part of our team.
Cassie graduated from Central Lakes College with her dental assisting degree in 2019. She now lives in Rice with her boyfriend Cameron, their dog Max, and their cat Cyrus. She enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family. What Cassie enjoys most about Lawson Family Dental is getting to meet all the awesome patients and forming relationships with them!
