Here at Lawrenceville Pediatric Dentistry, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentists office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth. Our goal is to protect your childrens teeth so they can eat and speak correctly. We will do whatever we can to help your children have the bright smiles they deserve.
As a mother and a healthcare provider, Dr. Sharma understands that children require extra time, care, and attention during a dental visit, as well as a comfortable, child-centered setting. At Lawrenceville Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Sharma has created the perfect environment for meeting these needs. As a parent of two young children, she knows how difficult it can be to instill good eating and brushing habits at home and has lots of ideas for parents on how to ensure healthy smiles for their own families. She is a strong believer in prevention rather than intervention and takes a conservative approach whenever possible.
Dr. Sharma received her doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) with honors from New York University. Upon graduating in the top 5% of her class, she was elected into the Beta chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National dental honor society. After completing dental school, she worked as a General dentist for 7 years in Georgia, focused in pediatrics.
Dr. Sharma realized that the magic of children kept her enchanted and challenged every day at work. She wanted to become an expert in children and their little teeth, so she completed a specialty residency training in pediatric dentistry at NSU in Florida. During her residency training, she treated a wide variety of patients including medically complex and special needs. Her program is affiliated with Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital, which is one of the leading childrens hospital and level 1 trauma center, that gave her extensive experience in treating patients with dental emergencies and in hospital dentistry. In addition to extensive clinical training, she also received a masters degree in pediatric dentistry upon completion of her research in Effectiveness and sustainability of ABA based desensitization on the success of dental treatment in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is grateful for all the training and knowledge to make her prepared to provide her patients with the highest quality care.
I embrace my profession with joy and happiness because as a pediatric dentist, I can be a positive influence in childrens lives. I enjoy forming lifelong relationships with my patients. Having two wonderful little kids, Im passionate about helping children have a positive dental experience and empower them to take pride in their oral health

Our daughter, Lily, has special needs and the dentist has always been a massive struggle. She has always had to be put under for cleanings and no one other than us parents have ever been able to EVEN LOOK in her mouth while she's conscious. We have been to two other dentists and have had awful experiences. But today, for the first time in her 8 year old life, Lily sat in my lap and had her teeth cleaned. She was nervous and fought a little, but the hygienist took it in stride and had her laughing throughout. They even told us tips and tricks for her teeth that no other dentist has shared with us over the past 8 years. Before we left, Lily sat with the hygienist, showed her her favorite video on repeat, and practically didn't want to leave. At the time, I was at a loss for words and couldn't effectively communicate to those in the office how big of a deal this was. To the hygienist who showed Lily infinite patience and understanding and the dentist who quickly and effectively examined with minimal discomfort, thank you.

Amazing! From start to finish, the staff showed kindness and patience with both of my boys. During the exam, it was evident that each staff member had training in how to successfully engage with patients. Communication was both thorough and consistent.Thank you to everyone.

My first visit was Amazing! I was nervous trying to find a place to take my one year old son & im so glad I brought him here. They were very professional & kind. As soon as I walked in they were ready to help me check in also it was so easy since they let you fill out the paperwork online. My appointment was quick & they informed me on taking care of my sons teeth. I look forward in coming back. I definitely recommend this place. The whole staff was amazing!!!

Have been going here for two years now since I moved from Illinois. Love the atmosphere. Even waiting is pleasant and quick. Great set of dentist and the receptionist are super sweet. Love it here.

I like the main doctor for my children however, when it am insurance issue arised I felt like I was not supported by the doctors office. They were no longer in network for my insurance Dec of 2021, I was never informed. I come to a doctor visit in April 2022 and I was still not informed. However, come May of 2022 they send me a bill stating the insurance did not pay. Instead of me being informed of this I was sent an invoice. Because the doctor discounted by $30 they felt that was good enough. This is unfortunately where we will part ways always and they will not receive any referrals from me because of the handling of this situation.
