Dr. Absatz has over 34 years of experience in family and cosmetic dentistry andlooks forward to making a difference in the livesof his patients by creating healthy, beautiful smiles. He is passionate about providing the highest quality of oral health care with empathy, integrity, and honesty.
Dr. Absatz attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland where he dedicated three years to advanced research in molecular cell biology. Dr. Absatz went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1985 at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
He is committed to continuing education in order to deliver the most innovative and advanced techniques and treatment in dental medicine and has completed coursework at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Absatz is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), and serves on the Board of Directors with the Suffolk County Dental Society.

In addition to his personal practice, Dr. Absatz is dedicated to delivering dental care to underserved communities. He has traveled to Israel and Guatemala to provide free oral health care as well as joining volunteer efforts in Cambodia with Kids International Dental Services (K.I.D.S.). There are so many people around the world that are in desperate need of dental care and I feel lucky and privileged to be able to donate my time and work side by side with a great team of people.

I want to give 5 stars because I love the dentist so much. But the staff there seems to have declined I've been a patient there prob close to 20 yrs or more and ever since Paula left it has taken such a bad turn. The hygienist hurt most of them, they bill you for procedures that did not take place or as I was told was an on going issue but yet I was never aware of issues. The last women I had clean my teeth wouldn't stop talking about how her bf was a loser I don't come in to have work done at a doctors office to hear about your personal life so uncomfortable. Now I am in an ongoing situation with my insurance because rules have changed with Covid which i believe any practice should be making patients aware of that they can occur charges due to this. Please I encourage everyone to read your EOB make sure your are being billed for what you came in for and if other things are being done ask questions because they definitely won't tell you here!

Everyone on their team, does a fantastic job! They want to make sure you understand how to take care of your teeth. They like to keep you in the know, because you are apart of the team when it comes to your healthy teeth.

HIGHLY RECOMEND!! I haven't been a fan of any doctors yet alone dentists I've had alot of bad experiences with dentists in the past to where I haven't gone in 3 yrs. Today I went nervous with anixety at a all time high and was greeted perfectly the hygienist was amazing she explained everything she did went through my xrays and showed me what was wrong and made me feel comfortable and relaxed while cleaning my teeth. The dentist came in and just confirmed all the thing I needed done and made me feel happy about the way things are going already. The receptionist helped me with getting payments done for my next visits through care credit it was awesome definitely recommended they actually care about you and not just your money like some dentists out here. I'm one happy camper.
